I'm for making the handoff as well.
I'm thinking the BH is not captain of his ship, with loyal crew, but crew on his ship, who has the precise job of capturing people like the crew of Space Girl. Which he has just failed at. The crew has standing orders for this -- wait so long, to see if the BH calls in, needing assistance. If not, you assume he is dead/captured. Time to report failure to whoever gave you the mission, and restock up on BH flunkies if you really want to keep doing BH missions.

grävling - great reasoning that dovetails with the others who have piled onto "make the hand-off vote". Great to see a clear majority forming here -- #2 - BH crew is not coming, let the sandstorm handle it (+4 Votes)

Probably inordinately happy with that helmet sequence.
Keeping the tally up to date across platforms --
#1 - BG crew comes buzzing in low in their spaceship (+1 Vote) #2 - BH crew is not coming, let the sandstorm handle it (+4 Votes)

I missing something What is Gestalt? And why would it matter? Gestalt Technologists are a type of medical tradition in Star Traders, who specialize in cybernetics and augmentations. I imagine the reason it matters will be revealed soon.

I imagine the reason it matters will be revealed soon. Great answer. I would modify to "who specialize in vat-grown transplants and augmetics." Working on editing their section for the Lore Book today. For Captain Avery, it is concerning only. She probably expected a member of Prince Saung's intelligence service -- a spy, a covert ops, a special forces military officer. It is a surprise more than anything. However, Derrick is clearly displeased.

Probably because he doesn't have any augmetics. I could see him turning down a Gestalt medic because he doesn't trust them or their methods.

torp it has been more than a month since last page😐 Thanks for bump! The vacation in the middle slowed things down a lot. I have draft lines for the next two pages which will wrap up the data cube delivery and let the story get moving on. Just ... have ... to .. get .. ST2 ...

torp it has been more than a month since last page😐 Thanks stratego I needed that! Captain Avery stands off against the Gestalt, in a half-draw stance. A tense, but quick meeting. This page had been sitting half done for too long! Excited to see the end of this episode! One more page to get back to the ship, a final crew introduction and a quick escape before the standstorm closes in. You Patreons voted on the last CYOA to "wrap it up!" instead of tossing in more complications. And I march to your orders Ok, new poll. At this moment in the episode arc, there isn't any wiggle room to change the story so I'm fishing for interesting character building nuggets. There will be a nice pay day for the crew after they get free of Lioka Cross. What is one thing that a crew member is looking forward to spending those credits on? Here is a link to the crew manifest. Maybe something unexpected?www.patreon.com/posts/11366127Check out the pages on Patreon and consider pledging $2 to get in on the voting! www.patreon.com/posts/13969806

Visit spice hall to blow off some steam and pick up rumors/next job.
Maybe have a little brawl to keep things rolling before launching into next job.
For next job how about Orchid hears rumor that some wealthy sort is desperate for some exotic medical plants/drugs that can't be obtained through normal "legal" means on that world. Raven knows of a source they might be able to get the medicine/plants from but there might be issues with that as well?

xdesperado - they're definitely headed to some spice hall to blow off some steam. A brawl sounds classic. Some shopping for supplies, someone picking up something interesting. I'm going to avoid letting this poll turn into a vote about the next job, so for now I've just taken 2 votes out of the post I like your direction with the exotic plants / drugs which would put it (unexpectedly) into Raven's court. - On our way to a shady Spice Hall (1 vote, guaranteed)!! - Friendly brawl never hurt (1 vote)
