Argus "duct-tape' Rawlins >Stocky, mildy obese and extremely hirsuit with hands like Hams. >Very jolly with a twinkle in his eyes and a thick almost unintelligble accent. +As his nickname suggests he can fix almost anything with basic materials and his know how. +Is a thesaurus of profanities and hilarious jokes from all over the quadrant. Whether its the joke itself or his unintelligble but musical accent he is always entertaining the crew. -Gets overly excited and tends to heartily pat his crew mates on the shoulders or enthusiastically shake hands creating much work for Raven  -"Oh yeah, sounds good Argus" Leans to crew mate "WTF did he just say??". The only reason Ava needs a Universal Translator. (Strangely enough Zippo has no problem understanding him) |

beverage - very nice, I like the sound of Argus! Great qualities and some great humor to an all-too-serious crew  Other Patreons are welcome to comment on traits, add traits, create their own characters. This will take a week and a few rounds I am sure.

Julia Aurelius Gunner Cadar She is tall and of a lean build, and is stronger than she looks because if her military background. She keeps her hair high and tight, and usually has a scowl on her face. Except when she's manning the controls for the weapon systems. Personality Traits: +Served in the Cadar Navy, as a gunner, so she is intimately familiar with starship weapon systems, and in a pinch can assist somewhat competently with repairs and is no slouch with personal firearms +Still has some military connections, so she might be able to help get access to armaments or armor repairs for the ship +Dislikes Steel Song -Still acts like she is in the Navy, so expect her to be no nonsense most of the time, and even though everyone is on an even footing, she may take to barking out orders during combat, assuming that the others will listen or understand. -When on shore leave, she can get a bit too rowdy and drink a bit too much, sometimes leading to spice hall brawls, which is the reason she is ex-navy. -Will get very angry very quickly if anyone mentions her discharge from the navy For the people who are unaware, almost every character I make for Star Traders is part of the Aurelius family, of the Cadar Syndicate |

Derrick Mendoza
--Bodyguard and weapons expert. Intensely protective and inventive, he has gotten them out of life and death situations with uncanny luck and skill.
Tall and stocky, he is an imposing figure who moves with a steady grace not often seen in someone his size. 6'2, 275lb. Blond, ear length roughly cut hair (probably cuts it himself...), strong jaw containing composite teeth-- original teeth were lost in a battle years ago. Because he always puts himself between the others and any danger, he is covered in scars and burns from intercepted bullets and plasma.
He will never forgive himself for not being there to protect the crew and wants to eject the Bounty Hunter into the vacuum of space, and will likely attempt to the first chance he gets.
Ex-Steel Song military aspiring officer, he was never given command of a ship as his mouth got him into trouble with those in charge. He got a dishonorable discharge after pistol whipping a bridge officer, knocking his teeth into his throat. He doesn't like being insulted, and has a tendency to become violent when provoked.
Derrick has an impeccable situational awareness, and often knows just the solution for conflict and combat.
(+)Fiercely Loyal and willing to throw his life away should it mean a crew mate survives. Because he is charged with protecting the crew, he will never break under pressure, as doing so would mean death for those he cares about.
(+)Proficiency with just about anything he uses weapon-wise. Prefers Pistols and Long Knives in CqB. Has no patience for longer range engagements, so he prefers to move quickly and close distance to close Assault Rifle range, where he is a surgeon.
(-)Not the brightest bulb in the box. Not stupid, but he lacks foresight at times, and acts out of turn with word and action.
(-)Poor Health. He has borne the brunt of his comrades' injuries, and has been pieced together more times than he could count. Much of his body are not original parts, and he has issues sleeping from the chronic pain his job has inflicted upon him

Killer -- so we've got two male entries and one female entry -- I have to admit, having both Derrick and Julia onboard would be pretty funny -- the Steel-Song vs. Cadar clash. Then again ... Captain Ava is Steel Song, so just having Julia on board would be interesting. Orchid (Female,Spy)
Formerly a member of some undisclosed intelligence service her adrenaline junky nature and gambling led her to leave that along with whatever name she was born with behind to travel the quadrant.
She is an expert at collecting intelligence and rumors and has a willingness and ability to either play up her appearance or simply blend into the crowd.
A master of personal combat armed or unarmed she favers blades of all sorts and easily concealed guns.
Adrenaline junkie...life is all about the next thrill and that blends into her gambling habits.
Why rely on files in a database when a personal reconnaissance through some merchant traders or wealthy lords mansion is so much more interesting.
Always looking for games of chance or a wager to place.
While she is smart and very good at calculating the odds she tends to push her luck to the limit and sometimes beyond, hence her new life amongst the stars as part of the crew.
