giddion - thanks for the report. I've taken ticket #4X-3258 for this one. You could try reloading the game and it may resolve itself.

I was finaly able to push back a little and make it into the same space, it has been many, many, many turns... I have restarted since then too, but the green zone still exists, I am not sure if it gives me any bonuses.

Quick update. I found a way to trigger a crash in MAC-Steam client running in window. Anyway it has cleared now, so maybe I didn't restart when I thought I had.

Can you please post details about the crash? Did you submit the crash report? If not, why? If so, what version are you currently playing on?

I got a MAC crash dump. Didn't report back to Apple, but can easily recreate. I was in the middle of a cool battle and wanted to keep the momentum going, you know how it is. I also wasn't sure about the information contained in the dump, happy to email to you, just didn't want to post on the forum with scrutinising what was in it. Let me get all the data later today and lodge an actual report under bugs. It was trigger by multiple keyboard presses during combat, x z x C C C whilst clickimg the next ship trying to move quickly through the ships and perform combat actions. Anyway let me do it properly.

Yeah, I'm happy to chase bugs for hours every day if we get real details and a full report.
Sadly it sounds like something in your system configuration is blocking our crash reporting system from working.
Luckily it works on almost all Mac OS X installs that are normal, because we get lots of reports when there is a bug.
So far today, 0.

Hmm mm I had steam in offline mode, would that affect it? It might. Being connected to a network is required for crash reporting.

Yeah, as fallen said ... what exactly happened in the game? This crash report is a mystery to me and at this point, even with the crash report, I cannot patch it. It looks like some type of queueing issue in the OS -- maybe jamming on a bunch of keys really fast while switching in and out of the window? I'll spend a few hours digging into it, but without more details or help from Apple, I don't see how this one can be fixed. Luckily, across 10,000 sessions it is the first time it has happened, and it has impacted 1 users.
