Sly?

Wondering about the character special talent Sly.
Says Artful in devious craft, gain +25% Data rewards whenever Spying.
Does that bonus only apply if the crew is an officer? Do they need to have Spy as a job? Does it stack if more than one crew/officer has it?

"Regardless of whether you are On Patrol or On Station, your Talents and Traits are always be used to help a situation at hand. If you happen to have a Talent that prevents Tactics Failures or Navigation Failures, either could be used to prevent a test failure, regardless of whether you are On Patrol or On Station."

So does the Sly talent only apply if a crew member is an officer?
Do multiple crew/officers with it have the bonus stack when it's applied?
I understand that talents will get used regardless of whether they are on station or on patrol, just trying to figure out if I'm getting extra benefit for having multiple crew and/or officers with Sly talent or if when I go looking for someone to fire from crew a second character with it or non officer with it might be on the chopping block as they aren't contributing anything extra.
At times as a Captain have to make those tough calls and more information you have about a crew and what their talents are helps.

Sly is a trait and will apply to whoever holds it, regardless of rank or profession. I think it will stack if other crew hold the same trait. On previous crews I have had people with the story teller trait, which provides +2 morale in the spice hall. Whenever a crew was 'spiced' it appeared that each of the trait holders was listed in the log as adding +2 for every person 'spiced', so for 3 trait holders it looked like I was getting +6 bonus total.
