Andrew did a huge amount of work on the coding and testing of this.
The sock puppets are in the washing machine.

That was really fast, compared to the last update!
Guess Andrew works faster than the sock-puppets. ;D

Can we turn the pop-up 'My employer won't be happy about the cancellation' into a dialog where the Connector says that?
Also, while the cancel screen is improved, listing the faction involved does nothing to improve things, since if you have managed to crawl to the Connector's to cancel, you already know what faction the job is associated with. More useful would be to display where the job was going to 'Package Delivery to Copley Square' or when it was due to expire. But I'm not to worried about this because I haven't found it difficult to look it all up on my PDA anyway.
Thanks for the release. It's a lot of fun.

grävling - one of my next tasks is to crawl a lot of places and crush pop-ups into dialogs. That will be in an upcoming release.

Cool. Thank you.
ps Did you make Benni any more courageous with this release, or did you just give McFly a sense of self-preservation?

Ouch. No more fine-tuning jobs.

Ouch. No more fine-tuning jobs. Nah, you can still fine tune them. You just need to visit hotels more often. And the fact that no taxi driver will accept you when you are on escort duty has made a greater change in my play, at any rate.

Can't say i ever used transportation much. Tried out a taxi once, but it would only drive me within the same sector, so i stopped even caring about those.

Taxis work differently now -- they are good for getting from one sector to another, and very convenient when you want to get from the south slums to the corp section (or Oxland) or the reverse. But they *won't* let you travel within the same neighbourhood. I am also finding the Thopters most useful. And the penalty for cancelling a job is small enough that if you really don't want it you don't have to take it.

I think that for fresh players this new text preventing using taxi shoud have more informations, also I think that it would be strange to escort 3 or more persons in the same time to different locations - and i hope that escorted persons are not given to us by phone (didnt check it )

Escorted people are given to us by phone at this time. But no taxi will accept escorted people as fares now.
