I'm very excited for HoS finally to be complete! I just finished the Barbican battle . . . and I had lots of thoughts I had to share!
1) Barbican! This had to be the longest (by far) battle in the game. I used ~15 tomes of sustainment. I'm going to have to go back and buy a bunch more in case there are more crazy battles like this one.
2) Experience! These post-fierhold battles give so much experience. During just the Barbican everyone leveled 2 or 3 times. Now my party is half level 62 and half level 63. I didn't think it would happen, but I think I'm actually going to hit the level cap of 64.
3) I liked how various gods came back and helped you if they could. It wasn't an overwhelming turning of the tides, but it was a noticeable help. Just about the right balance so your choices mattered, but you it wasn't hopeless without the help.
4) Relic weapons. Does new content still need to be added to give everyone relic/legendary weapons? It has been a long time, so I'm not sure, but either I missed it, or Kjarten and Tami never got relic weapons. Vraes has Bhevellis and Fyona has Hurlscarl.

samopop thank you for the post and feedback! 1. Yeah, its massive 2. Definitely a lot of XP going out. I'm curious what level you started at, if you know. 3. Thank you -- we've worked to make sure all the major choices come back in one form or another! 4. No new Relics were added with this update.

Thank you -- we've worked to make sure all the major choices come back in one form or another! 4. No new Relics were added with this update. I have a question on #3 above. I was originally going to post this question in the Bugs section, but the nature of my question is super-spoilery, so this discussion thread made a little more sense. So, my question is about Tevensa's appearance in my Barbican battle. When my party last saw Tevensa, she did NOT like us very much and basically wanted to kill us. We had used her to get to Ellista's realm and then Ellista blinded her. Tevensa freaked out, blamed us, and sic'ed all of her volpa and wolfkin after us. Even in our quest log, it notes that, "Tevensa has lost her sight and sanity, it seems, at the hands of her older Sister Ellista. We must be on the look out for Tevensa's forces who will no longer aid us." However, when she appeared in my Barbican battle, it seemed that all of the above had been forgiven and forgotten. While I can't remember exactly what she said, there definitely wasn't any acknowledgement from her or from the party that any of the above happened previously. Also, her eyes also seemed to have completely healed (i.e., it was her regular portrait that appeared and not the one where her eyes were whited out). While I am grateful for her help in the battle, story-wise, I'm not sure it makes sense. I would have expected her to tell my party to go pound sand and/or release more volpa and wolfkin after us. Or, acknowledge that she was mistaken in blaming us and/or came to terms with her blindness and now want to help us again against a greater evil. Or, made note that she's healed because... "seasons and magic." Or something. It just seemed like the Tevensa appearance that I got should have been the Tevensa appearance you would get if you had given her back the Heartbeat of Summer, but didn't use her to find Ellista. Agree? Disagree?

hobiecat - sounds like a bug! She should have appeared enraged and made bad things happen. Have you played through the rest of the content? Did she appear a second time?

I have not seen her a second time, but I'm also not completely through the new content. In fact, I'm still (very) slowly working my way through the Iced Moat. Work's been crazy so I haven't played nearly as much as I would like to. I'll see if I can pick up the pace and push through to the end sooner than later. If I see anything else Tevensa-related (or hit the end without seeing anything), I'll update you. Thanks!!

fallen - Woot! I finished the game! (Loved it.) But... Tevensa never appeared again. She only appeared in the Barbican battle and helped me.

Same happened with me, and I was kind of curious why she was so forgiving! Although I think I actually prefer the bug version, it was hard enough to clear the Barbican as it was, so it was good that she was on our side! I also want to ask about the chest in the left Warren in the Castle Ascent (the one with the gazillion drakes and their #$%@ eggs). Tamilin says it has a false bottom and there's a key inside, and Vraes says the key can 'open the gate where the trolls fell', however, there's no key in my inventory afterwards. Is there supposed to be a key or not? And this gate, was it in the previous dungeons or further up ahead?

fallen - Just wondering if v5.0.6 fixes Tevensa's appearance in the Barbican and beyond? I really want to play it again if she's fixed to see how it differs.

No, I tried for a while to reproduce that and checked all of the different story states that I could and was unable to find the bug yet. It is still on my list.
