fallen - Ah, got it. Would it be helpful if I sent you my game file? I'm not sure if that would let you see the story state that I'm in? I can also just try playing through the Barbican again with the same team and seeing if the same story elements pop up. I assume they would (should), but I also get that with weird bugs, it might be something else? Just trying to helpful where I can.

Does the pale man (or pale walker) appear again? I don’t know if he’s only to be met on the way to fierhold and never again.
**spoilers** In the last battle, does it matter if you break all the moorings first or just kill wiegran and the last few will just break if he powered up?
The last sequence is so enemy dense that the exp gains are crazy.
In theory couldn’t you just re-run barbican a few times to max level? The 5k exp penalty for leaving is nothing compared to the exp values for all the mobs.
I’ll have to leave rabiel alive just to see where he pops up again.
Are there multiple endings?

@hallister - there are different scenes that get swapped in and out of the ending.
You can re-run the last dungeon any way you want to get to max level. That's the point.
It is a little different if you break all the moorings vs. killing Wiegarn.
Yes, the Pale Walker shows back up again with Evesse.

I meant leaving and re-entering barbican and resetting the mobs as mentioned when you first go in. I had the bugged Evesse fight so I’ll have to do it again. Was there a purpose to the two ratkin in the northeast portion of the last map? I get the giant rats cause they are hard to kill but the ratkin were just fodder.

Finished the game too! I might play the last section again to see what happens if I destroy the moorings first, although I suppose the ending won't change much. Btw, the Pale Walker never appeared with Evesse in my game, was it because I chose to kill Vlotgar?
On the whole, I enjoyed this game very much, it was truly an old school turn based RPG and had great back story and character development. I would love it if there's ever a continuation, or a Heroes of Steel 2, and I'd certainly play it!

The Pale Walker is Vlotgar, so he only appears late in the game if you haven't killed him earlier Personally, I really hope we can return to work on a sequel, the Heroes story really set up an amazing world I want to see more of. Our next game is Cyber Knights, but then we might come back to it in the rotation. www.tresebrothers.com/cyberknights.html

Wait? The Pale Walker shows back up again with Evesse? That definitely did not happen with my playthrough. My last quest log with Vlotgar was, "Vlotgar the Pale Walker attacked and destroyed Reis Lodge, slaughtering all of the Braeys who lived there. He will pay for his betrayal." He never showed up again for me in the final act. Evesse was alone when I confronted her. I think the storylines in my game file may be confuzzled.

Sorry to hear about that bug as well. Perhaps the two are related. I've definitely talked with and seen multiple saved games from players who have battled the Pale Walker a final time. I will see if I can figure out what is going on !

How much real time did the Barbican battle take you? It took my 3 hours till the appereance of Arrogance. Wonder if it's meant to be like that or is my team unusual in terms of soaking / dealing damage.
