OK! I have finally wrapped up the revised Reference Sheet! I like to come back to CyberKnights about once a year, and still enjoy it every time. Go Trese Brothers! I had a lot of fun confirming and expanding the data in the Reference Sheet; it’s been a while since I last worked on it. This new version will help me when I come back to the game again in another year! 😊
Use the filter button to select filters and sort the data to your liking. The sheet is at:
drive.google.com/open?id=1_MCAWDDlmR5_TmUazFb0G6pTiixk-JssilyIIGXdZKgNew features:
All data is updated and confirmed in v2.9.4. Data from all shops are listed, including all shops in the tutorial and on Aztek Work Isle.
In addition to items sold by shops, I have included all items available as rewards, found during encounters, or sold by VIPs. This includes quite a few unique or rare items. (Plozak-3! Amor: Rating 1! CORRUPT FILE SEGMENT!)
I’ve added lots of explanatory notes. Watch for the black triangle in the upper right corner of cells!
There are several weapons, one armor, and a couple implants which have multiple versions—things with the same name, but slightly different stats. I have distinguished different versions by adding a qualifier to the name in square brackets.
I retained Zarox’s concept of a Unique Filter column. If you filter on this column, the sheet will display only one line per item type. Items with multiple versions will display one line per model. This makes it easy to compare items in a table without seeing duplicate lines from different shops.
Most tables include a new column called MnB. This identifies items, persons, or places which are only available in the Made Not Born tutorial and storyline. If you are playing in sandbox mode, you can filter out rows which only apply in MnB.
I added the default Heavy Gloves and Street Coat, along with the default Hund Teeth and Hide, so that the stats can be compared to others.
Cyberweapon implants are now listed both under Weapons and Implants. This allows you to compare the weapon stats to other weapons.
The Weapons table has two new columns: one identifying Stun weapons, the other identifying Weapon Type. This should be useful for figuring out how to arm runners who cannot use all types of weapons.
I renamed the Equipment table to Gear, which matches the term used in Pawn Shops. The Gear table has a new column: Type. This specifies a general category of the item, such as ammo, drugs, Medkit, computer file, etc. I used my own judgment in deciding on the types, e.g., anything that can be loaded into a PDA is a File. This may be useful for sorting and filtering.
The Implants table has a new column: Conflict Type. An implant cannot be applied to a character which already has an implant of the same Conflict Type. The Conflict Type is based on the Type listed in the item stats in the game. In some cases, the Type from item stats is broken into several Conflict Types in the table by adding a qualifier in square brackets. For instance, an implant of
Bodyware [AP] (such as Neural Hardwire II) will not conflict with an implant of
Bodyware [Bone] (such as Narvidium Bone Grafts).
In the Gear and Implants tables, I have modified the format of the Bonus columns to improve collating and sorting. For instance, an implant with an MP bonus of 40 can now sort before an implant with bonus of 200.
There is a new table named Reputation, replacing Zarox’s table named Faction Reps. The new table lists all rewards or special access which become available based on reputation. Besides ladder rewards, this includes entry to VIP rooms, access to certain shops or sales items, thopter and canal trips, and connectors who require a minimum reputation.
I have expanded Zarox’s table of V-Chips. This lists all V-Chips available currently in the game, and what they offer. (Over a dozen V-Chips which were available at various stages of the beta-version are not listed.)
There is a new table named VIPs. It lists all people you can find in VIP rooms, and what they offer. It includes the data from the old Persona-Fixers table, except for Kass Bad-Eye who is on the V-Chips table.
I retained Zarox’s table called Enemies, but I am uncertain how useful it is. I removed the column for Faction, because the faction of an individual enemy is not always same as the faction of the patrol they are in. E.g., KH mercenaries might be seen in a Yakashima patrol in Mars territory. All factions buy drones from other factions. In addition, there are several new enemies which are not listed—mostly drones (probably added in preparation for the sorely missed Drone Master). The Trese brothers have not provided stats for the new enemies, so there seems little point in extending the list for now.
There is a new table named Locations. This lists all shops, phone-booths, and other locations which open a dialogue when you click on them while standing adjacent. It includes a surprising number of locations which are not on the MiniMap and must be reached manually. The table does not include places where one-time events are triggered simply by stepping on a square (a few rewards and several encounters are triggered that way).
Finally, there is a new table named Map. This is just a crude map intended solely for seeing how to get from one zone to another. It marks the major walls blocking travel, and the alternative links between zones such as thopters and tunnels.
Enjoy!
