I guess this is the proper place to ask. I have seen the transfer captian stats to cloud button on my cell. But I have never seen it on my Xoom. So I have alternative universes going. My captain is still a ghost on the tablet. I also have completely different conflicts etc. For instance there is a Solar War against Javeat on my tablet however on my cell the current Solar War is against Steel Song. Don't get me wrong, this captain is a MO for the Syndicates so he hates all the clans ;D Is it just my equipment or there is a way to currently keep games synced over multiple devices? Or rather does the Android platform allow it? My cell is still using 2. something but my Xoom has upgraded to 4.0.3.

You can hardly expect conflicts to be the same on multiple devices. If they were the same in game time then the game would be somewhat predictable. If they were the same in real time this would probably require connectivity to synchronise (not possible due to "no permissions" required by ST, which seems to be a major plus for many people) or, again, would result in a predictable cycle.
If you just want to copy captains between devices, you can pull the game database files off your devices with the android SDK and copy them over. I think this has been covered somewhere on the forums but can't remember where.

One of the threads had a mention from Cory about pulling a file from, I think, the /data folder. Another option is using Titanium backup on one device to backup ST, then move the backup to the other device and restore data only with the same app.

Thanks for the Titanium tip but it's for rooted cells and I can't root my cells or tablets I'll probably just play different Captains on each

ST RPG has zero permissions -- that means it cannot read your phone calls, examine phone state, use your data plan, connect to the internet, read your contact book or any of that.
It is literally in a complete and total isolated sandbox.
We work with Google's provided non-permission services like Cloud Backup and application sychronization where possible to provide features for our players WITHOUT requiring any invasive permissions or internet sign ups.
We have overwheliming feedback from new adopters and first-time purchasers that the zero permissions stradegy is working for Trese Brothers.

Very few apps should ever need invasive permissions. I commend you guys for caring about your audience and from reading so many Play store comments, obviously many others commend you for it as well.

The one that really kills me is how easy Google makes pirating our games.
You can use Google's search engine to find copies of our games that have been hacked and now include additional permissions.
I get a few e-mails a week from people who are angry because ST requires so many permissions, spammed their contact list or ran up their data bill.
I even respond to them, knowing all along that they're using a pirated copy of Elite with someone else's virus and malware injected.
And where is Google? Quiet as a mouse, no assistance or protection for developers OR users.

Google are too busy filling shipping containers with cash to care about this.
Anyhow, we are grateful for your efforts and once I've got my pay from my new job starting next week a suppoter's badge will be on the way!

Google, like all big corporations, only cares about its bottom line when all is said and done. Small businesses are the ones who actually care, and some of them only because they can't afford not to. Easier to spend advertizing dollars than to pay people to give support. All is well as long as the fat cats keep getting their big bonuses.
I'm hoping to get a supporter badge soon as well.

This week has just proven the point that Google doesn't care.
They have repeated the "Cyber Knights is Spam" threatening e-mails and may be terminating our developer account.
Been trying to reach the Google customer support for weeks, not a single response yet.

grävling - the market description is a lot like Cyber Knights RPG Elite. Therefore, they are probably both spam.

Huh? But you aren' t the only developers who have a free trial version of their game, and a full version that costs money. Do they have this problem with ST and TA as well?

grävling - just to quote Cory, "This week has just proven the point that Google doesn't care." Its frustrating, maddening, and they are so big they don't even know how stupid this is. They already flagged Star Traders and Templar Assault, but we managed to work around it. Cyber Knights is getting flagged repetitively. At the end of the day, Cory and I will work with out with the big Googrrila. Just keep working for the mega-corps, make the big money, hack that Matrix.

Huh? But you aren' t the only developers who have a free trial version of their game, and a full version that costs money. Do they have this problem with ST and TA as well? Google no longer wishes to support the free/paid game model. Freemium is dead to GOOG because it doesn't make enough money. If you look at the App Store revenue stream, In App Purchases (with no refunds!) provide a much better ROI for Google. They keep updating the content policy for Google Play to push developers towards IAP -- even going so far as to complain that application names like "Templar Assault" and "Templar Assault Elite" may comprise "repeat content uploads." As you can imagine, this is very frustrating for us
