1. Make a Face. 2. Go raise money until you reach a set goal, i.e. 5000Y + a 2 job computer. We will take the 2 job computer as a given. In this phase it is ok to use the task manager to kill the game if your run into trouble. This is just set-up and is to get around the problem that we cannot specify our starting cash at startup. Go to a hotel. Record right now how much money you have, what your current stats are, and how many XP you have to put in. But do not buy anything (including McFly) aside from the 2 jobber. 3. Take a deep breath. 4.From now on, you may only fulfill negotiate, threaten, and 'these punks stopped me in the street and threatened me with a loss of rep' jobs. You may accept jobs from Connectors that are not those sorts as long as you do not do them -- so cancel them right away to avoid more serious rep damage. 5. Deleted. Because it was a duplicate of 4. Boy was I tired when I posted this. sorry. 6. You cannot hack. 7. You cannot do data courier missions. Finally 8. Post your stats, gold, XP, and turns when your negotiate reaches 12 to this thread, as well as your starting -- before the deep breath lay out. I have 5 deaders at 5K and no 2 job computer, so I think that these rules are more interesting. No results yet, but one promising candidate-.

That's gonna be a tough one. My bread and butter in missions are courier jobs of one sort or another.
I'm betting I'll spend most of my n-Y on runners, since I always seem to end up in a fight following a threaten/negotiate.
Should be fun.

me either. I keep running out of cash before I can reliably do missions from the Howling Sea Inn to Oxland, which would keep my head above water.

It's rough, no doubt. It might be easier if I knew more connectors in gang-land that do negotiate/threaten missions reliably.

1. In this phase it is ok to use the task manager to kill the game if your run into trouble. I would love to try this, but will a task manager destroy CK's equations like in Star Traders?

I don't understand this question. Nothing gets destroyed in CK, though. And this challenge is so hard it may be that it is impossible. No successes reported yet, at any rate. Try an 'I only assasinate people' knight first. That one is do-able.

Iv read that task managers will mess with ST's equations. I didn't know if this applied to CK. And ive been playing for six months as assassins and hacker andbeen reading the forum just as long so please dont talk to me like a nube.I wanted to try something different. I know how to play.

I've failed at this 3 times with Skull's chip. I've always gotten to the point where my missions stop working -- i.e. I need to up my negotiate or threaten skills -- but the only way to get experience points to stick in negotiate and threaten is by walking around town looking to get jumped. Eventually I run out of cash. Death quickly follows.

Task killers will mess up ST and CK, ST more than CK. We are working on a fix for the CK combat system so that it works like TA where if you kill task you just "restore combat" at the same place.
