*edit* /this space was occupied by a long winded rant about how TB deserves more money. as we all most likely agree with this notion, this rant had no place here.so I retracted it /... I would purchase expansion packs by wahatever means was easiest for this dev so they can can work more on content than packaging. As far as creating maps on a phone screen that would be painfull ,i think but I support any editor to be a another purchase for elite users. If I were these guys I would even further restrict the free version now that its out of beta . There is so much garbage on the market we have got to stand behind quality development houses.

The "super story" and interlocking / all campaigns updates are coming soon. Since TA has no permissions (neither internet nor sd card) loading levels without an update from Google Play isn't going to be a feature we are able to deliver. However, we're not against user designed levels. In fact, we may offer than as option to [Elite Supporters] at some point in the future. The map editor that we use is freely available and easy to learn. I own several apps that have added new permissions since I bought them. I really appreciate that you've kept permissions down to vibration (never turned it on for even a second, lol,) but it seems like reading SD without internet permissions would fit with your honest developer model. I'd be thrilled to see another permission to facilitate supporter developed levels and campaigns. Could you repeat the name of your map development program? I'd love to contribute levels, whether they went into the actual game, or were just peer to peer downloads. PS, who is an "elite supporter?" I see it as a title here.

People who donate though to the Trese Brothers through Google Wallet can help by buying an 'elite supporter badge'. The problem for me is that I don't have a credit card and it's extremely unlikely that my parents would let me donate money to a game! (Much as I'd love to help). I earnt my supporter badge for helping out with getting bug data, I think.

You hate in-app purchases that are consumable, or just hate buying things in app? For example, what if you could buy the application for $0.99 and 3 more campaigns for $0.99? I'd be happy to buy more campaigns. What I hate is the trend of buying weapons and tools and so on and so forth in the game.

I agree with Ms G. I'd pay for a Campaign Expansion to TA. You could still keep the zero permissions approach by supporting import of squads between the two games. That way once you complete the campaign, you can then replay the campaign with your skirmish squads.
If you did do that though, be sure to break the large campaign into bite-sized pieces for skirmishing because you might have a favorite level 12 levels into the full campaign. Man, getting ahead of myself here ... think of this as a vote for a chargeable campaign expansion pack.

I absolutely will sign up for elite!
Thanks for being so responsive... I'd love a go at level design and willing to do some beta testing with that. More levels/level designer definately worth paying more.
I think one time fee is more user friendly than lots of little payments per levels.

im really not into hardcore tactical games especially those that limits you to a single, linear, and contnuous story arcs however, i do love ta elite because i have my dose of tactical game while being able to choose maps i want to play and be able to carry over my teams from one campaign to another. i also like the fact that when stuck in a particular level or map and not be able to complete it, i have the option to play another scenario, campaign, or map instead untl i figure out a way to complete the campaign i cannot previously finish. what i am trying to point out is, while adding a long main campaign, retaining thr disconnected campaigns the same time would be better since wed have the priviledge ti choose what we want to play.
im not a fan of consumable in app purchases but i like being able to support games that i like, like being able to purchase new campaigns, new sets of skirmish lervels, or even new and unique templars.
this post is long already so id end saying i like ehate trese and co have been doing. this hgame, ck, and st . kudos

@alienshampoo - thanks for the feedback! As we change TA we are going to keep many different campaigns so you don't get locked into a single, massive campaign.
We hope you will give us ratings on the market that reflect your enjoyment of the games and share with your friends and network!

I'm quite interested in a campaign arc. I feel it'd need breaking into chunks and that there wasn't a set order everything *had* to be done in. Unlocking blocks as the campaign goes on is a plan.
My only query is what do you do with an 'level 100' captain? I'd also suggest a skill tree to allow training of new specialists.

Good news for everyone who likes Templar Assault.
I'm about to release a major update to the Campaign selection system that makes all 105 levels available as campaign selections to every character.
At this point we will have 17 campaigns ranging between 4 and 16 levels each.
10 of them are Elite only, 7 available in the free version.
As previously, new squads will have a default campaign to play through that matches their build-out but now they will have the option to replay it, play the other squad campaigns and mix and match.
As previously, you can abort any campaign and start a new one at any point if you get stuck.
This change has also eliminated any "single level" skirmishes, folding those together into shorter 4 level campaigns.

i like the new layout but... ummm when is the armory available? I've played through several of the new constructs without being able to buy anything. I understand not being able to run to the store after fighting 2 maps deep with 3 maps to go but what about at the end or whatever? I am also not able to edit my squad at the beginning of the campaigns (other than a few)

Overall, the items you mention were not changed at all for the latest update, but with the new Campaign layout the old settings may need to change. Look for the next update to revise some of these settings.
