The Narvidian levels are great. I like the more difficult levels... all in all very well balanced for an experienced team.
Unfortunately the bug on the last boss level makes it unplayable. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be doing... I assume there is a boss monster somewhere I am looking for. Although Ive hunted everywhere and can't find it.
I assume the blank area on the top right has somwthing to do with the boss missing?
Not only does the map go blank in top right... I've also encountered templars and Narvidians going invisible in that area with the map underneath visible.

bob - you are the second user to have reported this now. Both Cory and I are having a hard time reproducing the problem though. We have tried and crawled all over that level! Can you provide device details and a screenshot of the issue?

Sure. I will try to get screenshots.
Actually if anyone knows software that will video capture phone screen perhaps better. It kind of flickers as you scroll at places. When one character is in the blank zone he goes transparent... but if you click on someone outside that zone he is visible... until you scroll again.
I'm using a galaxy 2 skyrocket on ice cream sandwich... at&T's version of ice cream sandwich that is!

Having the same problem on boss map. Everything turns invisible and boss area to be seen on briefing map is black. Will se if i can take a photo and post if nothing else works.

I just finished mission with cruiser defend and "discovered" that you can enter orange tiles to earn XP. I got +1 XP message three times with my Captain and after mission I have just 1XP to spend. What exactly gives this +1XP bonus?
And second question (I hope I don't spoil anything). Is there any bonus for entering all 6 orange tiles in this level?

It's a bonus, the orange tiles make it easier to locate on that level.

I am also having the indivisible tile on the big boss level. The upper right corner (where I assume the boss is) is completely invisible (black). Templars can enter and shoot by randomly pressing in the black space, and as they approach the area will disappear. Basically if the top right corner from about two squares left of the spot the briefing shows as an Orange objective is on the screen, Templars and narvidians will not be visible on tiles you can see (they disappear when you scroll that area into view, and there's roughly 10 by 10 spot in the upper right corner which always shows as black. Any Templars and narvidians in there are black as well. Basically that whole spot is always invisible, and characters on the map near that spot are visible or not visible depending on whether or not that invisible section is on the screen. My tablet's not rooted so I couldn't provide a screenshot, but the level cannot be completed because of the bug. I'm using Androidr 4.07.03 on a ThinkPad tablet.

There's a mission about 6 levels in, where you have a bunch of orange squares. Your mission is to hold the ship for 12 turns. Sorry about the vagueness but I've forgotten stuff in my old age.
Anyway ... to the point, there is a lot to investigate, and at least 4 XP and other potential stuff. You just don't have enough time to explore. Also, it seems very short considering all the other levels get me to waste at least 30 turns before completion.
I'd love to have the level last for 18 or 24 turns making the holdout more epic.

How about the option to extract your squad after 12 turns, but if you don't make it in time (or chose not to), you have to wait another 4/8 turns to be extracted?
P.S. I don't have elite and haven't played this level so I don't know whether what I'm suggesting could work - it's just an idea.

Maybe last 12 turns, then get to an extraction point. if you are cautious, you'd be at the EP on turn 12, but if you want to explore, you can use as many turns as you need before getting to safety.
