Removed the Backroom from Drip-Side drinks! jeffjway - fixed the support pillar so you can explode it in the next release hopefully. Thanks. Can't wait to finish the story mode.

If you sleep in the hotel before Mercer pays you to do so, the hotel lets you sleep for free but you do not train and you do not heal. grävling - as suspected we have some bug with all hotels that are letting you stay for free. We will try to fix!

Not technically a bug, but: If you get a Faction Heat Wave rumor for Fennian, it becomes hard to get enough reputation to get out of the tunnels. You gain heat so fast you have to rest after just a few missions, and then have to sleep in both available hotels because you actually gain heat in one of them. Unless you've worked your reputation up already, you end up losing Fennian rep almost as fast as you can generate it. If you are unlucky and end up in some random encounters, you generate even more heat, requiring more double-hotel visits. You can slowly gain reputation, but it takes careful managing--perhaps a bit more than is good from a tutorial aspect. In addition, the tunnel folks don't discuss rumors, so it might be confusing for a new player.

@ahab - this did happen once during testing and we put it on a list to "make sure this doesn't occur." Thanks, we are in process of turning of Rumors and Conflicts in the tunnels altogether! You've been great surfacing really important bugs!

Max Mercer says: So, I am wiring down the V-Chip for a local Fennian connector who will get you started
except that he cannot do that. You cannot wire v-chips. So I had better go pick it up somewhere. Oxca again?

malekar - any chance you remember if you used the Back button to hop out of the taxi conversation when you were coming back to the main tunnels? Tried to insure this is resolved. I didn't use back that i'm aware of, i'm still stuck in the next area, no option to return from Shady's location. What I had done is finish shady quest, once that was completed, I went back to Taxi guy and he still had the option to return to that area and I went there and once there I had no o return option.

V-Chips can be wired across a secure connection. The Knight has a cache of chips which can be slotted into the Knight's computer and filled with the secure details of the contacts.

malekar - we have just released an update that fixes a lot of the transition bugs between regions, but I am not sure that we can save your stranded character =[ We are extremely sorry about this, but its too dangerous to the rest of the playing community to try to make a change that would save you character. I hope you can understand... I will look at it again tonight, but its a tough nut to crack without endangering other games. The release did include a bug fix that should insure that this will not happen for any future characters.

I just had a confrontation give me King's chip. He'll come pick me up with his taxi! But the only place I can go to is the Big Dig Taxi Co.

grävling - interesting... there are supposed to be no V-Chip Encounters there! I will take a look. Ahh bugs, what joy. Thanks for the report. I have collected plenty. Mostly from 'enforecer terrorising an innocent' encounters.

Then why didn't Luka just wire me Max Mercer's chip to start with? Probably because "That is not in the program." ;D My interpretation is that Luka is using it as a way to introduce the Knight to Oxco. Oxco probably helps keep an eye on what the Knight is doing. [He is, after all, described as an informant.] It's also another way of putting the Knight under Luka's thumb. From a tutorial point of view, it makes sense as a way to introduce the player to interacting with shop bosses, and learning about V-Chips. It breaks that piece of infodump out from Luka's already long discourse.

I walked into a trap at the vault. Fine. Killed the dogs and the punk. (Next time, can I have a hyperpunk that can land a single blow??) But when I stealth exit out, I get back to 'Damn I walked into a trap' and I have to kill them again.
But I wasn't able to, and died instead. Good think I am playing on Crazy, not Brutal.
Went back to the taxi co, fine, and again, I am looping with the vault quest. I have killed 2 warhunds and a thug 3 times now. Are there lots of traps and I am just unlucky? or was this supposed to onoy happen once?
