============ SPOILER ALERT ==============
I ended up in 'Let Mars Rot!'
Is this the end? If so I would like a cutscene.
If not, hmm, did I break something?
In the typos thread I already reported that I didn't want to make this choice, I just pressed the button too long in asking for explanations. For an important decision like this, I think we need confirmation.
Ah well. Back to start a new char, and explore some of the paths I didn't take.
Thank you very much for a most enjoyable weekend.

============ SPOILER ALERT ============== grävling - after agreeing to help Sara, did you complete the mission? She needs your help escorting her somewhere. After that, yes, that is the end. I will have to try to make it more clear if you actually got there and still didn't see "end of story." Maybe it should just be -really- clear in italics that Story: Made, Not Born is over, welcome to the sandbox of the NBZ.

grävling - i'd also encourage you to look harder for clues so you can find the secret ending!

No, I agreed to help her -- but as that was a too long a press, I never got told what to do, so I have no clue what to do now.

No, I agreed to help her -- but as that was a too long a press, I never got told what to do, so I have no clue what to do now. Too long a press? I'm not sure I follow -- each tap in Android OS generates the same events, no matter how long. So there isn't really a "too long of a press" that I can understand. I'll check in with Andrew, maybe he knows something I don't. Glad you made it to the end -- what difficulty are you playing on?

I'll check in with Andrew, maybe he knows something I don't. Glad you made it to the end -- what difficulty are you playing on? Brutal, of course. The problem is that if you press a button too long, then you miss the entire whatever that conversation was to be, and instead move to the state where you clicked on the next button that was created exactly in the same place at the end of the dialog you missed. You can see this for most dialogs. You press the button, and you can see the new button and conversation choice being filled in *before* you go to the conversation. Which I think is DEAD WRONG, and should not be created until after the conversation is over. So if you push too long, you click the new button before you get to the conversation at all, the conversation isn't displayed and you get whatever is associated with the second button -- most likely a new conversation. Does this description make sense?

Okay, NOW I am done.
A this-concludes-the-tutorial message isn't needed, but might be nice.
Dear God but I have never been as hated as Mars hates me now. ;D
So much for my plan to see what Mallor thought of my behaviour. ;D

Here's an idea of how to insert more ambiguity into the tale.
Why does the CK need training? Not so much because 'as a CK his role is new' -- though there is that, so there is no flaw in saying that -- but that if you have just had serious neurosurgery, to implant the crypto-chip -- well it has changed your entire 'sensorium'. Which means that even if you were a crack shot before surgery, you no longer have this dexterity. Even if you were strong and athletic before surgery -- and, damn, you were in order to be considered for this -- after surgery, you need to relearn.
Training is not only about learning how to use your new capabilities -- it is physical therapy in order to regain your lost capabilities.
Does this make sense? Does it have a place in the dialogs?
Also, I would like one that says:
Why is Luka so insistant that I purchase Cybernetic Implants? Does she want me more fit to do her work for Mars Corp? Or does she just know that with each reduction in my humanity I will be easier to control? I must weigh this decision very carefully.
Ok idea?

grävling - both awesome suggestions. Mars hates you more than you know,... be careful out there. If you can ever find a way to get back to Mallor, he has something to say to you (nothing amazing, just a dialog) ... =P

I got jumped by them once already. But I have a plan to have them forget if not forgive me. I know a Mars Connector who has a phone in his office -- so, once I get a second taxi chip, I will be able to taxi in, take some work, taxi out, and then do the jobs.
But this lack of a second taxi makes things really difficult .... I must wait for this plan until I happen to get King's or Jenning's chip in an encounter.

Wow! Congrats, Gravling! The furthest I've gotten on Brutal in story mode so far is half-way up Cava's ladder. Almost out of the Tunnels with my next try.
