If you go the Weingart Association before you have even met Moxa Trow, you get a button that says:
I'm here on official business. Is the Lieutenant in?
But when you press it, it turns blue and nothing happens.

grävling - meaning that you get a Force Close? I will try to isolate and fix this tonight. Ahhh... something I did not consider -- your character was certainly created before the 0.9.9 release? I think this will work if you were created post 0.9.9, but may be a bug if you are pre-existing. Crud! Story bugs are hard to fix!

I think this will work if you were created post 0.9.9, but may be a bug if you are pre-existing. Crud! Story bugs are hard to fix! No force close. Just, click on the button, watch it turn cyan, that'it. And yes. This char was all set to go to the NBZ when you mentioned a release 'maybe tonight'. So I waited to leave until I got 0.9.9 If it is just because this is a pre 0.9.9 char then don't worry about it. Should I give up on this character and just start a new one? Will other things be bad for this one since he has a split lifetime?

grävling - no, you should be fine... except it sounds like Weingart is completely broken to you now? Let me know. I try to be really gentle in fixing any story bugs to not wreck existing characters, and I know that I can dig your character out of this one. And I think, for the sake of the rest of the gamers who may be in your state (and don't know it yet) I need to! Can you send a logcat?

But I am talking with Moxa Trow now, we will see if that changes anything. I won't say that I am ready to move to BS yet.

Moxa wants me to meet her in the Downtown Gateway, but no note in my PDA. If you put that in for this release, it didn't arrive.

Can you preface the talk to Moxa ion the Silver Silk Tea House button with: Hello Moxa -- or something? Or a cutscene that says that as you looked around the Tea House Moxa made a dramatic enterance? Something that distinguishes her from the conversation you want to have with the Tea House owner, about how to get in and out of the gateway. Ok, I talked with Moxa, and then talked with Lt. Simon. Before and after talking with him I tried to use the 'is the Lt. in' button. Nothing happened. Looks like you were correct and I am completely broken. www2.openend.se/~lac/CK/button.broken.lc.outI will go start a different character in the tunnels. I will keep this one around, so let me know if you want me to try something with him.

I still keep walking into the Vault trap twice. Either I really like to fight in a spot that has a trap on it, I am extremely unlucky, or there is something wonky with the code.
Anybody else having to fight the fight twice?

grävling - we have not fixed the vault trap issue. Try to flee or end the combat far away from where you started it (go back away from the trap).

The escort missions are good.
But there is a mismatch in the story progression.
Mallor went home.
Mercer told me that I was almost ready, and the Flynn had just one more hoop for me -- assasinate and capture missions. Luka too, he said, was excited to talk to me.
But actually, Flynn had tons of message and package missions (and the message ones still pay too well) and has only now, 2 days later got around to talking to me about escort. My rep with Fennian is only 26.
I think that Mercer's 'Mallor says I am ready to go topside' button (or whatever it says) shouldn't appear until my rep is larger with Fennian. Is that possible?

grävling - thanks for the feedback. I have made a note to make the conversations with Mercer and Luka less specific about the job types and just say that you have to clear all of Flynn's hoops.

Minor phone interface glitch
You are in the Tunnels. You are talking to Flynn after having selected 'Connectors' from your phone interface. You press 'Taxis'. Nothing should happen, or you should get a blank screen, as you don't know any taxi drivers. Instead you get to your 'All Contacts' screen.

Right now my assasintation missions are paying over 1000Y but my captures are paying only about 500Y -- both prices before negotiation, and profession bonus. Shouldn't that be the other way around?
Also I am hardly getting any, and no more escort missions, either. Just lots and lots of message deliveries. Perhaps the proportions of types jobs on Ftredric's ladder needs some tweaking?

When you battle and your character hits 0 shouldn't the battle end there? Its fixed for when your fighting a npc and they hit 0 but your character keeps being able to go when their hp or mp is 0 or negative?
