We could really use a review from anyone who reads this.

Submitted, on the italian apple store. There was already another 5 star review for an older version. Apple store by default shows the rating of the current version and you need a set amount of reviews before having displayed the average rating. It looks like that for every update the previous reviews and ratings will not be visible anymore (unless the customer pushes the 'all versions' button. First time I see your huge effort on continuosly updating the game as a disadvantage.

So everytime a version is updated all reviews disappear? Prehaps there's a way to change that so that a custumor automaticly sees all reviews, prehaps by making the reviews not tied to the update but to the game.

Reviews do not disappear but you have to hit the "all versions" button to view the cumulative rating and read older reviews.

And that isn't something Cory and Andrew can control, they make a game, not Apple's website.

I would post a review but unfortunetly I don't have an iphone nor ipad I guess for istore the best strategy would be to make 20 updates into 1 and have them every month or two Stupid apple

Come on, Apple Star Traders, this is the only review there, people need to set the record straight! Elite naturally has more content, this isn't something new! We all know the Trese Brothers aren't trying to shaft anybody.
I can't setup an account to post a review myself in part because I do not own an iOS device, and because I can't install iTunes on my company laptop, or else I'd be posting right now!

It's all good. We'll do what we do best -- post lots of updates, keep cranking away on the fixes and hope that someone in the gaming press or at Apple App Store notices us

So post a new update immediately to make this review go away?
No apple-stuff, sorry else I would attack the problem directly.

We need a new thread, ATTN IOS STAR CAPTAINS
That explains how IOS ratings work and why you need to send a new 5 star about once a week as your old rating went away. And whatever else seems useful -- no apple stuff here so I do not know.
But if you update every week (or even more often) looks like loyal IOS fans need to resend the 5 stars every week (or even more often). This explanation should be part of every new release -- your first action as a captain is to get a message that explains that with every new release the old rating that you may have already submitted is toast, and to keep TB on top of the heap even with a rapid release mode of operation, you need repeat reviews. (And a never show me this again on updates button, of course).
Further comments on streamlining the process is left to those as have an Apple device.
ps: In some cases sending a popup that contains a graphic that is a photo of the two of you may work wonders.

There is extra space on the right side where the facebook and forum links are. A link to the app store could help this. I don't visit the app store often, opting instead for older (stable) versions of my programs. Don't know much about programming for the iPhone, but it seems a button could be added there, and a red 1 in a circle could show up whenever there was an update and those of us would know it was time to download and/or review again.
