Have just fought a Zytox alien and beat him the report says the hull is intact and that there is 118 able bodied traders on board but there is view ships button and no conscript button either this has happened easy normal and challenging so far and is very annoying. Playing 4.1.1 on an ipad 2

You cannot capture or conscript from Alien ships.

Sorry for the annoying text about "able bodied star traders" that is a bug.

I will fix it so the iPhone/iPad version does not say that vs. aliens.

Hi Guys,

I posted this in a different section but thought it should go here and I couldn't move it so sorry about the double post.

I am having an issue with the text getting cut off at the bottom of the Factions Politics page. I am using Space Traders Elite v4.1.3 on an Iphone 5, IOS 6.1.4. I have attached a screen shot of the issue.

Hi everyone! Love the game but there still seem to be some bugs in the ios version.

My setup:
IPad 4 (Retina)
IOS 6.1.3
ST RPG 4.1.3
Difficulty Challenging

Bugs:

1. Invisible Planet: at [11/12] there is a planet called "Blastblink". It is invisible on the in game map, but otherwise acts like a normal planet. I just found it because a contract sent me there.

2. "Assassinate" is spelled wrong in contract headlines.

3. Criminal Status: Even after buying a pardon, and building a little positive rep with all syndicates, faction screen keeps telling me im a most wanted criminal in syndicate space.

4. Score Screen: The number of times your ship was looted and stopped for inspection doesn't seem to correspond to reality. Unless im getting something wrong. Last game it claimed i was looted 16 times
and inspected 3 times. In reality i was never looted but submitted to inspection quite often. Does it count as being looted when the warship seizes illegal goods?

5. The friendly pirate: Today got shot up and boarded by a pirate (Demanding Difficulty). Game says he looted me. But checking the cargo afterwards, he either took nothing at all or just a tiny portion of my goods. How come? Was his hold to small, or was it just a bug? Score screen also didn't seem to record any looting or inspecting so far.

6. Damage Numbers: Not sure about this one but i could swear actual damage done to an enemy ship is often a few points more/less than what it says at the bottom of the screen (like it says i did 4 damage but their stats go down just 3 points all in all). Need to look at that more closely. Or maybe my scanners are just inaccurate or damage done/point reduction on enemy doesn't work 1:1 on purpose? Armor absorption or something like that?

1. #iST-2115 for the invisible planet
2. #iST-2116 fix the misspelling
3. #iST-2117 make sure criminal status dissipates as it should
4. #iST-2118 investigate why loot / inspect numbers are not working out right

Cory will have to weigh in on 5 and 6 to see if we need to open specific tickets. I will point them out to him when he is back on deck.

Hi all

I don't know if it is reported, but when playing bounty hunter (probably it happens with the other classes), when i do an assassination mission and the enemy ship isn't destroyed in battle, when i click to destroy ship the game freeze and i have to force close the game. Even if i restore the saved game (before battle), it always freezes when i click to destroy ship. It happens maybe 1 in every 4 times (missions). I am not sure, but it doesn't seem race related.

I have a ipad mini, ios7, game version 4.1.3

I was playing a bounty hunter for Syndicate Rychart and during one of my bounty hunting contracts I was told. "Working as an Agent of Syndicate Rychart, [blah blah blah standard contract complete message]" then " We have violated our oaths of loyalty to Syndicate Rychart. As a result we have been stripped of a rank, leaving us as a Immortal Titan Legionnaire Rank 17" on the same screen! The target was an independent ship so I know I didn't violate any sort of alliance.

I am playing the latest version of the free game (I plan to get the elite version for my oyua since the android game seems to be more complete) on hard if that matters.

@armedbear - there are times when you will run into contracts that run against your own faction. Did you possibly take one of those?

I got the contract at the palace on Rychart Prime and "Working as an Agent of Syndicate Rychart" leads me to believe it wasn't against them. I am wanted for mass murder but I am 99% sure thats from destroying steel song ships.
