My job got really demanding and It might be a while before I post further on Cerberus. No worries, though, I will post more eventually.
Some of you may notice a few changes, to the characters, as the story evolves. The idea behind a lot of them is to 'flesh them out'. No good man is a complete good man, no evil bastard is an evil bastard all the time. People are both 'selfish' and 'selfless' to varying degrees. That's a complex way of saying: We all have our good points and bad points.
Some secondary characters have a modification of their 'roles' so as to keep them fresh ... and because I planned it that way a few months back. Tom Larking, for example, was mostly comic relief. Now he's more.
I WILL get back to Travis and Veronica. Those two have some serious issues to iron out. Plus Diana isn't going to wait around forever. She wants her brother back.
Anyways:
Thank you for reading.

Hey @rabid, just curious, about how many hours a week do you spend writing?

Very hard for me to know. My typical day is like:
Get ready to work, sit down, surf for news, coffee, write something, get in the car. Get to work.
Work work, stretch, write something, work work, oh good idea ... write something .. work work.
Get home, do shores, relax, write something. Oh crap I forgot to do X or Y. Work work work. Get into bed, use the laptop, surf, write something. Sleep.. Rince and repeat.
Mainly I have 3 or 4 stories going on at the same time. I get REALLY bored writing the same story. I need my mind to wander. If I don't do that, i simply can't write because of lack of interest.
So ... no idea.

As I was writing the future chapters of Cerberus, I noticed my word count is at 43,000+ words. According to Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America, that means that Cerberus is now book length (I thought it was supposed to be 60k+ words but it seems to vary) This is, in essence, my second book length project. I try not to count those projects I have on hold (I've mentioned a few). It kind of kicked me in the chins, if you know what I mean. rabid Wow, that's amazing. Great work and thank you for pushing this project onward so successfully!

Have you thought about formatting a manuscript fo paper publishers with, or maybe self publishing like Orson Scott Card?

Have you thought about formatting a manuscript fo paper publishers with, or maybe self publishing like Orson Scott Card? No. Neither of the works I have made on these forums are publisher worthy. I mean, I have seen less polished work on Amazon, but I wouldn't suggest anyone pay for them. If I ever put something for sale, it has to be something I can be pridefully sure is the best it can be. At the moment, I'm still -learning by doing-. Most of the issues I detect in my style are with pacing and trying to make each character's voice 'unique'. A close third is 'proper placement of emotional content'. I don't believe in abrupt discoveries of self, for a character, these things should have a slow growth (IE a comment here ... a comment there). Still unable to pull it off to my satisfaction. Anyways, I've been posting a lot about me lately, and too little on stories, so, with respect, going to get back to it rabid

As an artist you'll probably never be 100% happy with your work, and thats a good thing. I believe when you become complacent you stop advancing the quality of work.
The trick is to know when its' good enough'.

I believe Cerberus has been slowly evolving for 6 months straight. Six months of writing on this story. Holy crap. I'm trying to get to the end. Honest! Still, there are a few more secrets and twists I want to put down on paper. Sadly, as I stated previously, work has gotten heavy and I will have to slow down on my self imposed posting schedule. Sorry dudes and dudettes.
