Cerberus Story thread: Sorry, I had to take this out. The 1st book is tentatively scheduled to come out in March 2015. Best bet is Amazon kindle. Hello: Come late April-1st of May I will begin posting on a story I've been kicking about for the past six months. I am an amateur writer. I work close to 12 hours a day, so, I ask patience. I don't have an editor to help me with these posts, and as such the quality might be dubious even through I try to re-read each post a minimum of 3 times. Still its sooooo much fun to write Any comments, observations, discussions please post them here so as to preserve story continuity in the Cerberus thread. I will ask moderators to help with this As a preamble, I will post a scene I have already written, so you, the reader, can get a feel of the tonality of the story. I hope you enjoy. rabid

Thank you! Glad you liked it. I can say, without exaggeration, Cerberus .. is .. a monster. I want to make the reader feel it. I want horror to drip from the words. Not sure I will succeed, but I'll give it a good try. rabid

Awesome start. I'm very curious to see the next segment. And yes, the scenario is chilling. It sounds like the act of revenge will truly reveal the monster. I hope we get to hear more about the past he has just re-learned.

Hey! Who gave you permission to write my autobiography, man! :-p Good shit there. Even though there's zero description of the place, I could already imagine some kinda dark cell with multiple safety doors and service pods housing medical bots and security drones. Nifty!

"Gripping" is the word I'd use to describe that. It's more gripping than a lot of things I've read, actually. Nice work - I look forward to its continuation. And it also kind of reminded me of the Comedian from Watchmen (though that may be because Watchmen ranks as one of my all-time favourite pieces of writing).

Excellent in its tone and undertones. I have already exalted you, and now I give you a virtual High Five. Keep up the addiction... it helps the rest of us that are addicted too. ;-)

It was as bad as someone sliding chalk on a board
I now get to meet people who have made it all the way to university without ever experiencing 'chalk on chalkboard'. It's all 'markers on whiteboard' for them.
