Fantastic, love the resume move after combat! One issue with this however, the buttons do not appear to refresh on arriving at your destination, but only if a combat encounter occurs.
EG: I start from a world that has just an urban zone. Buttons, Bridge and Urban are active. I warp to a zone that has a wild and urban zone, that is four steps away.
Step 1, empty space, nothing shown. Step 2, empty space, pirate encountered, Bridge and Urban shown. Step 3, empty space, auto resumes, just Bridge shown. Step 4, destination planet, just Bridge shown.
Now, if I don't encounter anything, it goes like this (as it should) Step 1, empty space, nothing shown. Step 2, empty space, nothing shown. Step 3, empty space, nothing shown. Step 4, destination planet, Bridge, Wild and Urban shown.
I can obviously goto Bridge and then either back, so the Wild and Urban button re-appear, or land from the Bridge screen.

A minor point - the Splash screen still shows 3.4.11. I checked in Market and I definitely have installed 3.5.0

My mistake, sorry. I downloaded the Free edition not Elite edition, and my homepage shortcut was to the Elite version. Both editions have the correct version number on their Splash screens.

I am getting very slow progress of travel in the game since installing 3.5.0, looks like it has to think very hard about everything, gets slower and slower, and then another FC. I've had 2 more today. Memory leak somewhere maybe? But unless someone else reports it, assume it's my phone. I do install other stuff so it could be that rather than ST RPG.

I've had a couple of FC while transitting space. Mainly when I encounter another ship. I've submitted the crash reports.

Resume Movement After Encounter has some complications:
1. What if the results of combat affect my plans? E.g. I am badly damaged and need to divert to a friendly base. Or I have seized lots of cargo (contraband especially) and need to divert to sell it.
2. I don't get the opportunity to train while I'm in space. It seems dumb that I have to plot a series of waypoints just so I can stop and train.
Solution
- Prompt player to continue/not after Encounter

I am 100% dedicated to making this game work. I am also 100% certain that this is our most requested feature. spike: I am watching the error reports, forum and test systems carefully. I will find and fix the issues with the code. Please send me reports. If you cannot use Google please use "aLogCat" or another log capture program. gandalf -- I am probably waiting for them to come in. Google also throws out a not-insignificant number of them for reasons I do not know.

The really difficult thing for me is that as of this morning I have zero bug reports from Google about Star Traders RPG -- as far as they can tell me there have been zero crashes with the v3.5.0 deployment. This thread tells me it wasn't perfect but the Google system at least tells me it wasn't a disaster. Of the 93 releases I have created for ST RPG 2 of them were "bad" and when those were released I received crash reports within hours of the first download. Lucky for me ST RPG is very "code stable" now and even this new v3.5.0 release only changes a handful of lines (very clever changes tho!) So that at least makes my job easier because I have a tiny amount of things to check for side-effects. spike: the more you can share about this crash the better. Hopefully it will turn out to be your phone. I went back and checked 650 e-mails for this since the release in question and there is only your report.

I honestly do not recall who suggested it on the forum, but I really like these new Conflict Toasts.
Good idea, whoever it was.

I've uninstalled from my phone, all the apps that I've installed since ST 3.4.11 (2-3 apps). With luck there will be no more FCs from ST 3.5.0!

spike -- keep me posted. I'm camping on the crash report page all day waiting for something to come in. If you can install a log viewer that would really help me identify the crashes if you can send the logs. Thanks again for playing and reporting your issues. I do take every report seriously and I hope that you understand how I appreciate the time it takes to type up and send crash reports. Very helpful, thanks.

I'm liking the upgrade so far. The informative splashes on faction changes keeps me from having to go back to my conflict screen to see what is happening as I travel. The info of which faction is watching my encounters is interesting but why should I care if the Independents are watching me rip the Cadar a new one? I like being able to help myself to Cadar (or anyone else's) missiles, and will probably make me more likely to returning them at high velocity.
The resuming movement will take getting used to. Initially, I had a situation when leaving a major planet for De Valtos it seemed as if I ran into a traffic jam with almost 5 encounters in a row in the same spot. They were random, with bounty hunters, merchants, and battleships and were from different factions. I imagined the last one was going to be a little old lady in an escape shuttle driving slowly while her left turn signal was still blinking!
Outside of that, no crashes so far. Keep up the great work!

@kelvin: The "this faction is watching UX" is to end the "the encounter flags are bugged" comments from people who miss the detail about "who is fought vs. who owns the space vs. who you are"
Three flags -- three displays. That (I hope) will stop the complain train.
I am pretty opposed to adding an option. The UX is not done, it is a phase 1.
Last time we made this type of adjustment it caused a total collapse of ST RPG joy so I'm happy to hear a non-disastrous report.
