G'day,
I'm going to flash a new rom on my phone but I want to save my Cyberknights (& my Templar squad!) before so I can restore them when the new rom is installed. How can I do this?
Kind regards, Hurzwa

hurzwa - if you are rooted, just keep the files under /data/data/com.tresebrothers.games.cyberknightselite/databases/ and /data/data/com.tresebrothers.games.templarassaultelite/databases/

You need ALL of the files from those locations.

Sticky? Change title? "upgrading phone/ROM"?

You need ALL of the files from those locations. Hello. What are you trying to say with all files? I have backed up entire /data/data/com.tresebrothers.games.cyberknightselite/databases/ directory but after restoring it to other tablet game fails to run. What about adding a feature to backup and restore profile via game?

@domeprdo - any feature we will add for backup will rely on the new Google Play Games services.
You have installed the game on your new device. Before you restored all the files, did the game work?

Yes, game was running well before. Even after I deleted all files, game is able to run properly.
I made an attempt right now: Started the game, created new profile, saved, made backup and deleted all files. Game was able to run. Then I tried to restore backup made in this attempt and game crashed.
Maybe I'm not seeing all the files needed. Just for confirmation, after creating single character and saving, in my /data/data/com.tresebrothers.games.cyberknightselite/databases/ directory I can see these:
core core-journal secrets_1 secrets_1-journal

those are the correct files. You may have to reset the owner of the files to the game after you copy them over.

Feeling ashamed I didn't thought about rights. You are right, Cory, everything works fine after setting UID back to game. Thanks, Domer

Ok, figure it out! phew.. Just had to create 2 new games with a fresh install, exit and paste in my save files. Restart the game and there are my 2 characters.

@domeprdo - any feature we will add for backup will rely on the new Google Play Games services. Is that a good thing or makes it impossible? I greatly appreciate any game that backup game files remotely..
