So just a heads up, my marathon is this Sunday and after that I should have a lot more time. I'll try to continue unit 314 then, hopefully I can play and write-up a mission next week sometime. As always, any requests or ideas for the next campaign are welcome, otherwise I'll go with Vengeance of the Templar when it is fully updated.

Hola folks! First of all, thanks for the well wishes Fallen. Unfortunately I managed to be about 10 minutes slower than I was last year. I blame a cold, my knee, and going to a Psy concert that lasted for 3 hours the night before the marathon. Probably it was mainly due to me being lazy though. Still managed to finish the marathon in less than 4 hours though! 3 minutes less! haha. So I just posted a prelude in the Unit 314 thread, and will hopefully have the next mission up soon. I'm hoping for sometime tomorrow night, but who knows? I've been really busy the past couple of weeks so I've been largely quiet on the forums. Hopefully now that my life is a bit more calm I'll be back here and bothering everyone more. I have two rather embarrassing things to admit to. First.... I couldn't find Vengaence of the Templar on the campaign list. Maybe I'm blind or stupid? I don't know, I just couldn't find it, so I've started up Docking Operations with the hopes that I can take the Unit through that campaign with little to no difficulty, building up experience points and honor to better outfit the squad. The other admission.... Well I accidentally played Unit 314 through two missions of another campaign instead of my free play squad. This means they have some extra honor, but that is balanced out because I bought a Hydra officer. I'll try to introduce him after next mission organically. This is totally my fault, I mistook Unit 314 for my normal screw around squad. Either way, I'm back! Nice to be here again folks! Stay tuned, check out the prelude to the next campaign if you get the time! Let me know what you think

johndramey - if you already have a squad, the campaign is named differently (strange ... but true) -- its called "Aperio Caliga" Looking forward to reading what happens next!

fallen thank you! I know it was something easy like that. I'll be playing through that one as soon as I finish this campaign. Excuse my stupidity Haha.

johndramey - lol, no problem. It is a really weird quirk of the Templar campaign system that has been caused by the fact that Skirmishes and Campaigns used to be two totally separate things. I have added #TA-1190 to resolve this issue!

I have added #TA-1190 to resolve this issue! Any chance we might in the future get a way to play individual levels as skirmeshes instead of playing the whole campaign? I like the campaigns but sometimes it would be fun to just do some of my favorite levels by themselves.

xdesperado - its not something we are looking seriously at right now. Our focus, in terms of expanding or changing the level / campaign layouts, is to get some locking so that some campaigns can only be played after others are beaten.

fallen, thanks a lot! Now that I know about it it really isn't an issue, but it'll be nice to have the system a bit more clear in the future. Also, I like the idea of nested campaigns a lot. It will add a lot more.... structure (?) to the game. Just something as simple as having the campaigns all be playable but listed in groups sorting them into overarching stories would be a step in the right direction. Another small question, after playing through Secrets of a Dark age and the new tutorial I got spoiled by your nice new briefing maps, any plans to go through the old campaigns and update all the maps? They make the briefings much nicer and much clearer!

johndramey - its a time consuming grind, but yes, I am doing all of them. Currently the schedule is to do 2 new campaigns every Templar release (at least weekly). So, I am probably about 40% done and did 2 more campaigns for the release that will come out tomorrow or the next day.

fallen - Awesome! I know you guys probably got about 15,000 things on your plate, so please don't feel pressure. Another update to the Stalwart Bastion has been written, this one is a little short and is basically just the briefing to the first mission. I realized that I had left out the map with my action plan, so I wanted to introduce the plan for the mission before I went ahead and posted the mission write-up
