Well i was playing 007 agent under fire but what i wanted my multiplayer name to be was too long so i
shortened it to AA and i've been using it ever since... that was 7 years ago

Mine comes from my childhood. My younger bro and I loved playing space ships, so I became Capt. Hawk to his Sgt. Bones.
When we got into online gaming we kept those names, so I just kept it going here.

Mine comes from my Artist persona, which is inspired by Atlas Shrugged, the title, not the contents.

About mine.. . I began using it when I was 12, it was my favorite Pokémon, just shortened. It didn't use to be popular though, so perhaps I should change my name...
In past I could solve it by swapping letters. I have been Porkus, Porygus, Gorpy, Porgy, and even more... But all these variants have been used a lot recently.. .

I was creating a D&D character, and this is the name I came up with. I wanted something that had a simple shortened version that sounded cool... "Oz". The character was a DPS focused Sorcerer, and I planned to wreck our DM's dreams with my fireballs.
"Oz" + "wrecks" = Ozwryx
I liked the name so much it has become my Xbox Live Gamertag and username for most gaming-related things.

I like "Oz + wrecks"! Until now, I always saw your screen name as a series of letters without a pronunciation. I wonder what proportion of people see the pronunciation you intend when they read your name.

Sometimes folks try to phonetically say it out, and they usually get somewhat close.  |

I've long been a student (and practicioner) of Sith philosophy and teachings, so Darth Cthoras was a logical enough name - given Cthoras is Chronicler in the Sith tongue, which would label me as the Dark Chronicler, or Jen'Cthoras, rather than Jen'ari, or Dark Lord. I contemplate existing Sith and Dark Side teachings in order to develop a unique Sith philosophy founded on free will and self-control.
