Is there any way to review the mission that you have been given?
I missed the ports i am supposed to sail to and am lost, almost died, broke and clueless.

This was an oversight on our part.
We're hoping to have it corrected tonight.
I am afraid, however, that you may need to start over ;(

I loved Tradewinds. I also loved Uncharted Waters for SNES.

I don't think it's too much of a spoiler to tell you to go to Dunbeath next, I think carrying timber.

Dunbeath -> Tayvor (bring Rum) -> Go to West Acadas to Pembroke and on to Glencoe.

I have a quick question in regards to the main storyline, figured I could post it here instead of creating a brand new thread for it.
Is there a particular reason for not explaining that the trade of shot and powder from Wealthy Population Centers to Naval Forts is very lucrative? I was thinking about it last night and it seems that it could be worth a mention, even though I guess it could fall under smuggling. It could pop up on the way to Tayport early in the campaign, or even when the first mate explains records (which are also dangerous goods to trade in). I think that it would be a good way to introduce the idea of risk v. reward to the newer players.

We're still working out some of the mechanics around that type of trade so we didn't want to involved the player given that the rules will change and we aren't going to go back and update the NS storyline, focusing on the next 3 now.

Is there a particular reason for not explaining that the trade of shot and powder from Wealthy Population Centers to Naval Forts is very lucrative? Well as a tutorial, ideally it should be as straight-forward and foolproof as possible. the First Mate tells Nathaniel to either Salute or Avoid ships. The problem with suggesting the player to transport S&P is that it could be confiscated when you salute military ships, and hence lose all your stock, possibly having you stuck with no silvers left to continue. Of course, it could be mentioned offhand at the end of the campaign, or be left up tp the player to discover later.

I can understand that, just curious. I use trade in S&P to supplement my income hugely, the margin is so large that I can't stay away from the risky trade
