- Laying Groundwork for next Awards

All the new unlockable content is related to existing awards on Crazy difficulty ...
- Smuggler Officer Powers (Double Records Bonus, Protect Contracts from Search)
- Syndicate Power Ships
- Clan Honor Ships
Those are for Rapid Contracts III, Hero of the Clans and Hero of the Syndicates on Crazy Difficulty.

So I have the ships of power unlocked. Where would I find them? Rank ship menu? I checked on my normal captain, as he wont die, and I saw only 4 cedar ships. Thoughts?

1. When you say "Rapid Contracts III," do you actually mean "Quick Contracts II"?
2. What's the "double records bonus" for Smugglers? Is this unlocked by the Quick Contracts II Award on Crazy as well, a different Award, or always availible?

Only on Crazy? That explains why I've only unlocked the Honor of Javat. Oh man, that's a fine looking ship!
Also, the Javat Cutter is freakin' sweet!

When were Smuggler Officers added? Do they do anything other than the unlockable abilities?

Smuggler officers have been in for a bit. Previously they, I think, just gave a bonus to explorers for exploration. (buffed by having records in your hold)
Now they're MUCH cooler and all the hip captains want one . . . or two . . ..

Well i have logged some serious time now on crazy and unlocked the ships and smuggler ability. I have 2 questions
1. Is the female spy officer still in the game and if so how do her abilities differ from the scout officer?
2. Where do i find aliens or the new alien hunter? and yes im on crazy and yes ive looked but so far im over 100+ years and not 1 alien encouter.

Ha sorry, I just misread the above and thought "Snuggler officers". Certainly helpful for long trips into deep space ...
