I totally understand dayan. I don't actually own any firearms (well, except for some family heirloom muzzle loaders that are inoperable) but I have a pet peeve about trigger discipline as well. It's not that hard to be safe with firearms, but people tend to ignore the simple basic things that most trained users do.

I notice that often people fall under two extremes- they fear weapons to the point they seem to think the weapons come alive to kill people to those who have absolutely no fear (or training) at all and dont treat them with the respect required. Digressing. But because of my background you can expect an element of... well lets call it accuracy when it comes to conventional small arms-The Scout and the Alien Hunter's pieces especially. The Leviathans used by the Templar I'm treating them similar to the XM307 25mm cannon without the rangefinder and airburst fragmentary shell.

I decided to rework the Pilot a bit. Partly because there wasn't enough of the outfit to get a look at but mainly because the original helmet reminded me a bit too much of a Storm Trooper helm. The replacement is one of those big fishbowl types that seal at the collar and probably have a HUD built right into the faceplate. This means the pilot can turn her head away from the windscreen and instrument panels and her head movement translates to the view and sensor data coming from the side of the ship she is looking from, for 360 degree visibility. I see a similar device being used by fire control. All thats left is the Military officer, and I am planning a tee shirt design based on the officers as well. Possibly in the same vein as the Star Ship tee with the caption: Which Career Will You Choose? or some such.

AWESOME! That's actually pretty cool, and should maybe be considered as a candidate for a banner ad or some such. Really nice work dayan, I'm sure you spent hours of your life getting each of those drawn just right. I'm jealous!

Second Narvidian type. I havent played any Narv levels yet so I'm guessing Rabidbite came up with the tiger type. I loved the description so I thought I'd draw it out.

Features include a retractable energy weapon inside the tail structure- which also has a chopping blade inside which the beam bgun is set, semi-retractable hand claws (it has a 4-legged run mode), jump jets, shearing jaws strong enough to rend hull plating, and an array of sensor and comm gear for performing its primary function as a hive scout.

Finished the Tiger. The shock trooper and scout of the Narvidian warriors, Tigers come equipped with retractable claws, jaws capable of rending a ship's hull, energy weapons in both wrist and tail- which also functions as a spear and claw, jump jets that allow it to clear long distances or maneuver in space.
