If you have made it to Granthorn you've got access to shops and you can spend that hard earned gold! 1. Is the amount of money you have fun? Gold rewards are scaled by difficult, so remember ... it should be scarcity if you're on Nightmare Do you have too much or too little? The intention is that when you reach Granthorn on Normal, you can buy all the new gear and armor you need. 2. What are you buying? 3. How about the prices listed? Clearly they go up. 4. What is your Outlander carrying now that he has the options? 5. Have you visited the gypsies? How about their prices?

I made it through on brutal. I had enough gold to buy pretty much everything being sold before and after helping the smith get his things going.
I have yet to find the gypsies. I've only found two things to interact with in Granthorn so far, the inn and the smith. Once I get my current group there I'll check around for them some more. (the brutal group got into an un-winnable fight and I'm restarting a normal group for the moment)

After first getting to town the weapon of choice for each team member unless they had better already (cleric had found a mace before getting to town), one-hand sword & shield for outlander, bow for thief. After recovering the equipment second weapon available and armor for each member. Been testing on easy so far, but the amount of gold has been pretty much as you said with can buy the gear needed, have been short a few gold here or there, but selling old equipment and then going back into the mine and clearing some more vermin quickly got enough to make up what I might have been short. First and second equipment seem appropriate, first is easy to get, some of the second start getting a little expensive but not bad and easy enough to make with some more dungeon diving per se. Best armor currently available and second level of one hand and two hand swords (to test how he has with a two-hander as well, versus sword & shield).

Thanks for the feedback. Sounds like generally people are able to "buy everything they need" which means perhaps you are getting overpaid. But on Easy, that's probably the goal. absimiliard - tap the item sale sign next to the wagon and you will get the gypsies. We are working on how to make the town feel more alive. Hope that helps you find them!

Nope, I think I just don't know where they are. I've tried tapping all the signs near the inn and the forge, nothing happens for me. The covered wagon nearby doesn't seem to have any activatable squares either.
Do I need to pass a storyline bit, or look somewhere else?

Is anyone else having a hard time getting the gypsies to open? There is a south-facing sign with a potion on it.

Very strange, I will post a screenshot next. You should be able to talk to the gypsy girl and buy potions.

I can't talk to the gypsies either. I found the wagon with the board, I click on all the wagon and even on the board (I tried clicking all over the wagon by moving my character around but nothing more).

Hmmm ... upon further investigation, they are gone! They must have slipped out of town before the flood Adding them back for the next update.

Hahaha ... you can never trust those Gypsies.
I definitely think that it needs to be more obvious where you go in the first town ... sign posts are just too small to be meaningful unless you know what to expect

We were putting noticeably little effort into story / town here. Two buildings? Really?

Sorry about the late reply, been busy. So, shops! I got to the town after totally cleaning out the void with about 850 gold on Normal. That was enough for me to upgrade a few things and still have over 550 gold left. I'm currently working on getting the blacksmith's junk back, so I'll check back in when I get all of it. 1) At first glance it seems like I have a little too much gold. As I said, though, I have just gotten to town and not retrieved the blacksmith's stuff. I imagine after I get that there will be more (and more expensive) options at the store. I'll check back when I get access to them. 2) I bought; a Flat bow, a Hunting Barb, and 2 wooden shields to start with. I'll wait on getting the shop keep's gear before I splurge. 3) Listing is good, makes lots of sense and is very clear. 4) I decided to mess around with the Outlander a bit, and have modified his build. He's now carrying a one handed spear and a wooden shield, figure pumping up his parry while narrowing his damage band is a good idea. I've always been more conservative with my gear choices though, so the polearms seemed attractive. First time trying them though 5) They no workie!

johndramey - thanks for the feedback. 1) That is likely, as you swept Cellet Void clean. If you had done just one side, you'd have about 425 and I'd be a happy game developer! Great feedback. 5) Fixed for update.
