fallenRegarding Gold: I'm thinking it might be hard to gauge if you are planning to introduce better equipment in P3. On potions, I use far more SP potions than HP potions. So far I've only played on easy. But I'm wondering how long my supply would last at a higher difficulty. I held on to all of my potions and only used them in emergencies when far from camp, during a pitched battle not knowing how many monsters were hiding in the dark. Even on easy the final battle had me worried, but had plenty left over. I purchased a few but unless you make allot of gold, they are hard to replace. I like abundance. If I want to play on really difficulty levels, then I get what I asked for, and don't expect allot of resources. But at easy or normal it is more fun to play without having to worry too much about the economic side. Certainly not complaining, more concerned about being able to afford better equipment if you put it in P3.

@johnrobison - is the concern that on normal, you don't have enough gold to afford the existing equipment and more potions? We won't be adding any more equipment or content to the Granthorn Questing side of the house -- the next content available in P3 will be the real game. You'll see a lot of the game gear at the first smith's shop, because we were testing out real content in Granthorn, just not backed with the real story.
We are working on a way to let you all keep playing Granthorn during the duration of the alpha.

fallenI am not concerned with current gold on Normal Phase 2. What I was thinking about. If there is more cool equipment in Phase 3 would there be enough gold available to try them out. If I understand your reply, the equipment will be the same, we are testing for content?

John Robinson - we aren't going to expand Questing in Granthorn any more, so if you've finished there and killed everything -- congrats! P3 will open up a totally new world -- the real game.
