John RobinsonI think that Ratkin Shaman put the same curse on Fyona's Talent Table page (also has 14/16 instead of 14/6)!

John RobinsonI think that Ratkin Shaman put the same curse on Fyona's Talent Table page (also has 14/16 instead of 14/6)! At one time I had every single character wrong because of a transcription error Not sure how this little devil crept in again. Rechecked them all and corrected Fyona. I'm really glad you are using the tables, thanks for the catch. P.S. I hope the version numbers aren't too confusing. They get changed when I see a change in release notes or during a routine audit of in game comparisons.

I didn't find the version numbers confusing! The tables are a great asset! I just started playing this a few weeks ago and I constantly refer to the tables.

Regarding character class growth What is the cutoff for when an attribute number gets rounded to the next whole number?
For example at the first waystation on a group of new characters:
Tamilin base Toughness is 3 and Constitution is 5 Her Con to Toughness ratio is listed as .75 I add 1 point of Con (Con 6 now) which brings her up to 4 Toughness. I add 1 point of Con (Con 7 now) which brings her up to 5 Toughness.
So from this it would appear that Con is rounded up to the nearest whole number for toughness (1.5 Con rounds to 2 Toughness)
Now Kjartan base Toughness is 2 and Constituion is 4 His Con to Toughness ratio is listed as .50 I add 1 point of Con (Con 5 now) he still remains at 2 Toughness. I add 1 point of Con (Con 6 now) he now is at 3 Toughness.
From this it would appear that Tamilin's example should not be true, as .5 Con doesn't round to 1 Toughness.
I know that a half can't always make a whole here otherwise what would be the point of having parts of a whole in the first place, but can someone explain why half numbers rounded up for Tamilin but not for Kjartan? Does each character have its own unique rule for how it rounds the numbers up?

vintoks it would appear to me that after applying growth multiplier to the attribute, the result is rounded downSo it follows that tamilin has toughness 3 at cons 5 (5x0.75 = 3.75), and toughness 4 at cons 6(4.5) Kjartan toughness at 2 at con 5(0.5x5=2.5) and toughness 3 at con 6 (3.0)

One example. I have played Selen with Dexterity(16) her maximum possible is Dodge(12). If Dexterity(14) she will get Dodge(10.5) displayed on screen as Dodge(10). If you take a peak at Team Crimson Rain, When you get awarded attribute points is just as important as the number of points to allocate. I felt the cost benefit for 2 more points of Dexterity to bring it to 16 (max Dodge 12) was not as good a return as putting the 2 points in Constitution. By the end of Episode-3 I knew this was the right choice for my play style. Note: She finished at Level 33 and the plan has not been updated beyond 25 yet.

I agree with rugar, anything to the right of the decimal place was truncated for these multiplier thingies. So even the 3.75 ends up as 3.

BlitzHi It was really great to get this info from fallen found in this thread. To the best of my knowledge none of these have changed. I have a new Boost In group and will keep an eye on it. Hmmm, how to format. Vraes: Toughness Factor = 1.25, Dodge Factor = 0.75, Resistance Factor = 1 Kincaid: Toughness Factor = 1, Dodge Factor = 1, Resistance Factor = 0.75 Kjartan: Toughness Factor = 0.5, Dodge Factor = 1, Resistance Factor = 2 Vincent: Toughness Factor = 0.75, Dodge Factor = 0.75, Resistance Factor = 2 Kyera: Toughness Factor = 0.75, Dodge Factor = 0.75, Resistance Factor = 2 Fyona: Toughness Factor = 1, Dodge Factor = 0.75, Resistance Factor = 1.5 Tamilin: Toughness Factor = 0.75, Dodge Factor = 1, Resistance Factor = 1 Selen: Toughness Factor = 1, Dodge Factor = 0.75, Resistance Factor = 0.75

I do believe that Kincaid's Dodge factor is now 0.75 and resist factor is 1.0. At least, play testing seems to show this. I remember an update where the change log included the dodge change but I'm not sure when the resist change happened.

To update that original post,
Kincaid: Toughness Factor = 1, Dodge Factor = 0.75, Resistance Factor = 1
I imagine that this was a typo the first time I wrote it.

fallenThanks I'll update the table right away. Jeeze out of 2 million things you have to remember an ancient post didn't get updated? Typo or not, it is something I should have audited and kept track of, sorry for dropping the ball on that one.

Is Vincent Dodge correct? With 6 Dex he has 5 Dodge. Does he have a non-standard 0.85?

Aside from a stat comparisons, can someone offer a less precise, but more meaningful and subjective comparison?
