Hey everyone, I can't find any info on what accuracy, penetration, power, and speed affects for the weapons.
Can anyone enlighten me, please? =)
And if possible, can the help file be modified to include the info, please? Thanks!

I see, thanks for the hint, but the page doesn't clearly explain what each weapon stat means. For example, I don't see where it says that weapon speed is the number of times you can shoot, or where weapon AP is the number of action points it costs to actually use that weapon. I was hoping to see a clear description of the statistics I see on a weapon screen. For example: Lightfire Mars Corp Power: 3 Penetration: 4 Accuracy: 6 Ammo: 8 Pistol Range: 3 AP: 3 SPeed: 2 Y552. I guess what most of these are, but I am still shaky on penetration v power. I only found what weapon speed was by searching this forum - that page doesn't say. I see on that page it describes how to calculate Soak Score, but doesn't seem to describe what Soak Score actually is.

Holy crap, Xmadblood got it right robertmarkbram - Power is the damage rolled. Depending on the weapon type, the resulting damage may be allocated fully to HP or MP, or split in lots of different ways between the two pools (it's more complex with melee weapons). Penetration reduces the target's armor score which means they get a smaller dice to roll to soak your damage.

(Especially clearer description of each weapon stat, maybe in its own sub-section.) Xmadblood how come you have negative karma? Here, have some!

Another question related to weapon stats: As mentioned in this thread, weapon speed is somehow related to how many shots it can do during one attack. However, the number of shots varies, it may be equal to speed or speed+1. Some clarification on what determines the actual number of shots would be much appreciated.

However, the number of shots varies, it may be equal to speed or speed+1. Some clarification on what determines the actual number of shots would be much appreciated. Are you Aiming first? Aim gives you a chance to add +1 Speed to your weapon with guns. Position does the same for melee. Otherwise Speed should always = number of attacks. You may have also been short on ammo. If only one round is left in your gun you will only fire once. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
