I love this forum and all the weird people on it. One thing I have noticed is that we all love to quote movies, tv shows, and books. What is really neat is that we all seem to know what the others are talking about. I do not think I've seen a post with a quote that someone then responded with a "what the bleep are you talking about?" We may never get a chance to meet in person but but we all love the same things. So for the new year and my first new thread I thought I would ask everyone to name some of their favorite movies, tv shows, and books that they have quoted. You can also mention where you said it on the forum or let everyone try to find it on their own. My own list might be to long so I'll put down the one movie I quote most that everyone else seems to like to use the most also,
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
If you do not join me and post a response here I'll track you down and say Ni! Have a good new year everyone and I look forward to seeing the coming responses. This could become a great thread.

I have a particularly favorite quote for my signiture but im constantly pulling them. In art school a friend of mine and I once drove his mother and fiance insane by speaking in star wars quotes all day. When called on it-
"Stop! Youve been talking about Star Wars all day!" "That, s not true. That's IMPOSSIBLE! !" "UGH..."

My fav Books are...
#1: Everything from Stephen King #2: Almost everything else.
Movies... Everything that's on my PC... If it's not there, I most probably either don't know it, never heard of it or forgot about it.
Edit: I now have 4x2TB Harddrives. Transferred all my movies over from my old PCs.... And the first 2 drives are full already.
So I've got to buy another one or two harddrives... damn.
Sent from my broken HTC Desire C using proboards. Anyone's got a fan?

I too can hold entire conversations in Star Wars quotes - I've been a Star Wars fan pretty much since I was old enough to think coherently. As for books, Asimov's Foundation Saga and Frank Herbert's Dune (only the first one really - I read Dune Messiah, and it just wasn't as good) are among my favourites.

Don't worry, Children of Dune is even worse and so on and so on... Quite a disappointment really, as I liked Frank Herbert.

God Emperor was better IMO but I follow the more modern Brian Herbert and Kevin Anderson stuff far better. Especially the Butlerian Jihad. I love Erasmus. Id have him leading the narvidians if I could.

One movie I like that I think about when playing CK is Logan's Run. A dome city where some unknown group controls when you die, has people known as "runners" if they try to escape, and sends guys in black suits to kill them. If the TB's have not seen this movie, they are missing out on a classic. YOU HEAR ME TB's! You deserve some time off! Quit making great games and relax a bit. I can't take much more of this! You are just to nice to be normal humans and programmers.

..or maybe the brothers are part of a brotherhood to ensure that we get too engrossed with games and stuff that we don't question reality, that we live in a domed planet and a group is i reality manipulating everything behind the lines. its a conspira

Ok, have some time to work on the list of movies I've quoted. There's no order to it, just what comes to mind as I'm typing.
The Last Starfighter Monty Python and the Holy Grail Galaxy Quest Alice's Restaurant Spaceballs Critters Police Academy
I know I've done more than those, I'll have to read thru the forum to find them all. Curse my bad memory (and Perry the platypus)
