I'm not sure if we should start the January challenge on the 13th, or if we should postpone it to the 20th ... thoughts?

Wow. This is crazy, on a preexisting save I have 1.5mil and 50+ Rep with all and I still don't think I could drop it.

Err ... does that mean (a) you can't drop your current game because you're having too much fun on it ... (b) You don't think even with that level of funds and rep you would be able to buy 6x flagships .... or (c)it took you a while to get to that level and you don't think it is possible in 10,000 turns?

chronic, you can still try - and see just how many you can collect. 2? 3? 4? It's all part of the challenge, and you might surprise yourself on just how well you do. Also, you can play on Demanding and dominate the quadrant. You have over 200 years of game play before turn 10,000

boeu, you're able to buy a ship if you want - stealing it is just more cost effective given you have to spend upwards of $500k per flagship as well:)

Just a few questions about the rules of engagement,
1: How are we to show our results, post a screenshot or something else.
2: Level 15 is mentioned as a stopping point but we are allowed to restart over as many times as we want if needed. Not sure I am understanding this rule right, could use some clarification is possible.
3: Do we start playing on the 13th and stop on the last day or if we get a valid game score to send in can we do it sooner.
Thank you in advance for any help you can give.

Any deaths below lvl 15 can be restarted. Once you are over lvl 15 if you die thats your score.

Does anyone know what rep you have to be at exactly to buy level 17 rank?

ntsheep, For 1, we've often done a simple screenshot of the score and roster summary or something like that. It's pretty much a trust thing though because there are no prizes apart from bragging rights, and it's a pretty hollow brag if you did so by cheating For #2, as boeu says, if you die before level 15, you are welcome to restart. if you die AFTER level 15, that's it - if you die, that game becomes your score. However, you are able to start up a game in the other difficulty level if you think you have time. For #3, post your score as you complete the challenge - even if it is on the tuesday after the challenge starts. Even better, if you are progressing well, feel free to provide updates on your successes.
