Thanks guys, the way you explain it is the way I had it figured, I just wanted to be sure. As my new avatar picture shows, I can get confused easily at times lol.

Does it count if you buy a flagship and have it shot out under you? (Escape by escape shuttle)or do you have to buy flagship again?

Sabotaged before I even begin! Sits down with chocolate cream pie and completely forgets about the challenge.

Lesleyr if you have the flagship shot out from under you, it still counts that you owned one. You didn't sell it/trade it in, so it is still within the rules. Just make sure if you do that, it's the Steel Song heap of crap that you have shot up and not, say, the De Valtos flagship

Here's a tip for all, if you eat pie, your ship may go bye bye. It helps to know your nemesis's weakness. Lesleyr is distracted by all things chocolate. BTW Lesleyr, there is a box of bonbon's floating of your port bow, enjoy!

Well i am defently going to be in this ^-^ It sounds like alot of fun and at great timing as I was getting bored of trying to get to level 50 on insane... (lvl 40 before accidently surrendering!!!!) I know of a few ideas that should make this more easily doable Lets see how it goes for Gobo the Greenie!

For some the challenge has already started - for others, it's about to begin. I'm in the former group, but since my brain is attuned to US time anyway, I won't actually start until tomorrow. Good luck for everyone who has signed up to collect some flagships. If you haven't done so, there is still time. 10,000 turns seems like a lot, but you'll be surprised just how fast you can complete the challenge

Ugh, there were some things I forgot about this week. Going to have to do some creative using of my time to complete the challenge.

Ok Lesleyr, I do not know how you did, but the first faction I get enough rank and money to buy a flagship is Steel Song?! When I find out how you hacked my phone, vengeance will be mine! I wanted a nice new De Valtos ship first! BUT NOOOO!!! I have already had to restart several times because a Level 1 Pirate shuttle blew me up with one shot and each time Steel Song somehow ends up being the faction I end up gaining the most rep with. Haven't I been nice enough to you, I give you chocolate, torps, frogs, multi hued small people. What is up with this stunning act of sabotage? I must remember that like most females, you are truly devious lol.

Because you have to fly the last hunk of junk flagship you acquired, you might as well start with the crappiest (Steel Song) and then trade up from there. I had thought of trying to end on the Steel Song ship, but then my captain would have been forever stigmatized with "Oh, you finished the challenge with a Steel Song ship ... oh, and you have a POSITIVE reputation with Steel Song now!" ... aaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Yes, I keep telling myself it will only get better from here on with ships. At least Steel Song will benefit from my supply of weird but very effective torp substitutes. Cute picture by the way.

ntsheep has completed the challenge so quickly ... how is everyone else doing? I'm on like turn 300 or so (curse you Heroes of Steel) ... As per usual, I'm expecting to have to play through the night on the weekend, just like how I did my uni assignments

Yeah, I don't know exactly, but I think I'm around 1,000 maybe. I've hardly played anything yesterday or today.

I have a reverse work week, only work on weekends and have monday-friday free to play TB games. Trust me, it took most of the day and I had to restart several times. I really expected someone else to post first like slayernz.
