Zer0Winds It can't be helped I've been silent. I've undergone a tough time doing too many things but still being unemployed (which is for the most part my fault though) and in last 14 days doing nothing, but feeling depressed. My meds are sometimes giving me hell and I can't keep up with the prescribed dose, because it's too strong for me. So I got back to the dose I had been taking before increase. Other than that I'm educating myself in C# and Java as well as game music making right now.. But god dammit, in Czech you need a decree from the university in order to get a programming job! Have you considered applying for low positions anyway? A lot of developers I hear (in the US anyway) at least claim they'd rather have practical experience. |

poryg in that case, use whatever free time you have to create small apps and utilities. Ideally, identify some specific gap or pain point in the market (or in your day to day electronic life), and see if you can't develop something that plugs the gap. The first iteration(s) may be absolutely crap, but refine and refine and enhance. This will do a number of things: 1) Get you far more skilled at programming Than any course can get yOu - you will leaRn by doing, and find out what works and what doesn't work (Probably). 2) You'll also be researching best-practice so you will understand and become more efficient 3) You might even get a bit of money if you put your app in the marketplace and fill a gap that others are experiencing 4) Prospective employers can see that you have tangible evidence of your coding ability - that's more real than any paper qualification 5) Leave you wide open for a Torp that I fired at point 1 stealthily hidden in the text ...

Word is, Templar scholars have been studying an anomaly and discovered a wormhole to an alternate Universe.
