So... everything else is Android only? (I'm on KindleFireHD... I believe that makes it 4.2) Oh, and I will go ahead and take the honor of inducting you into the Amazonian club- we even have a rain dance, right phantombudgie?

I learned long ago to be sceptical of joining any club that would stoop to having me... But I think in this case I shall consider it...

We're like a social lookout group constantly spamming Amazon for updates (which are consistently late, but it's an Amazon issue, not a developer one- its part of a fairly long list of reasons why relatively few games are on the App Store). Soon as someone gets an update, someone typically posts and we all stampede to the store to get it. And it keeps us from feeling crazy and alone when the Google Playstore users get their stuff pretty much immediately.

I know, I'm being over-dramatic. But man, it's good to not feel alone. I hear the Amazon app for other devices is good (except for gaming, but let's be honest, you don't want it...).

The additional lag with Amazon is why I learned to sideload from GooglePlay; I don't actually play anything on my phone except Euchre... but it is an excellent conduit into that whole other inventory. Consider the case of DroidTV especially; due to some legal snafu GooglePlay had to relinquish it to Amazon, who now handles it on Amazon.com... but not the AppStore n not for their own Kindle devices. The only way to get this killer app on Kindle is via sideloading.

As for the Amazonian rain dance, it's our "Amazon let the update go through fast" thing.
