There is something wrong with the reputation system now.

I am a Sailor playing on Challenging. I am level 6 and known as a Master Officer.
Treasure 579s 55c in 1 year 358 days 20 hours of sailing.
I have 14 XP for training and have accumulated 103 in my career.
My stats are 9 across the board except for Haggling (5) Intimidating (5) and Gathering (3).

In the Military of Ruesland I am a Champion, a level 10 military officer. I have a LoT and a LoM.

And I have only been sailing in East and West Acadas for my brief life. What I have been doing is Commission after Commission so as to get the new awards based on rapidly advancing in rank. (And I think the awards are too easy.) I have paid no attention whatsoever to my relations with the Cadari, or with Kaihmer. So by now, having received the Principal Captain award -- and I thought I needed military level 10, while it looks like level 9 in 10 years will do it -- I figured it was time to buy myself a pardon from the Cadari and possibly Kaihmer as well.

Killed any Kraiken or Ice Daemons recently?

I started a new game on challenging as well and while I haven't been doing every single commission, I have done all I have found for deliveries and the like. Fortunately I ran across 3 or four level one krakken very early and have enjoyed pirating with impunity due to the reputation gained from slaying the foul beasts... This might be the issue for you...

Well, yes, actually. Some bugged ones that were sailing around in human ships, alas, Pain Forger got away, but yes they were infesting West Acadas and I went after them every chance I got ...

It is supposed to be scaling the rewards based on level, but these bugged Aliens in Human ships is still eluding our search.

We will continue to hunt until all bugs are exterminated. Thanks for the report, sounds like this system is not working.

For what it's worth, I didn't get more that 5-8 reputation for each krakken I killed, about 4 or 5 in total before I was over level 3, so I think the low level scaling is appropriate.

I killed several as well. More than 3. Probably not more than 8.

Another question concerning reputation- I am very positive with every faction except with a few of the trading companies (because of rampant piracy) yet because I have pirated the trading companies and FoK I am wanted as a pirate under the spectre of mass murder, treason yadayadayada by my allies, including my home country of Ruesland. Nobody ever attacks me because of my pos rep (?) But I don't submit to any searches anymore because it says my allies would hang me. I'm so confused.

Should the piracy messages be disregarded because your home country wouldn't hang a highly ranked officer (it says we can only hope that our good relationship will spare us). Are these messages received in error? Is piracy rep factored differently than commission rep? Cadari wants me dead or alive and I have never so much as looked at them funny.

I never got hanged by my home country of Kaihmer, but the wretches did steal my powder and shot, so I am not submitting to searches either.
