Training video was actually VERY useful - I tried playing the game without the video and was as lost as a monkey sitting in a 747 cockpit. I did find it funny hearing fallen's pronunciation of the various factions though - I've been saying them in my head for so long that hearing it said differently is just weird  Haven't read the instruction document though - that's next on my to do list. well not "next", but one of the things I will do sometime soonish  I also liked hearing the pronunciations. I've been messing them all up. I have say that the pronunciation of caDAR only confirmed for me that they are a race of inbred frat-boys who are so fixated on their own torpedoes that they're completely ignorant of how far they are falling behind the other factions. No, we're sophisticated aesthetes with names like Lord Pricese of Ca-daaarrr (nasal pronounciation), like Cavi-aaarrr. ... Oh screw it, TORPEDOES AWAY!!! |

Looking awesome. I'm not an Alpha tester, so this is my first glimpse of the game - Loving the overall feel, and the tech tree looks like it's going to be huge, which is a good thing; I always play Civ on Marathon Overall, this seems to have all the bits and pieces that I enjoy from 4x games, and as much as I'm looking forward to initial release, I can't wait to see where it will be in a years time |

mataeus - as you have noted, the 4X forums are now open for the public, for good reason ... Oh my goodness, it's out! Cannot download until I get home and charge my phone. At work ATM. Straight to Elite for me, just like the rest of your games (asied from HoS, as I already bought chapters 1&2) |

There's no contest for me. After playing CK as my first TB game, I buy all of your Elite titles straight off the bat, no questions. Only HoS is not so, because I bought chapters individually.

The LP video helped me quite a bit.
I just surpassed the 2 year mark and received an achievement.
Then the Xenos attacked.
This is the first full game started on Elite. It's a learning curve.
