Wondering How to Play? Or what all those crazy fields mean?!We have prepared a short YouTube video that covers the basics of Star Traders 4X gameplay. It is a short summary that shows the basics of play without going too deep as to be boring. It’s a short two minute blurb that will get you started. How about "a short 8 minute video"?  I had 5 minutes before a meeting, so I thought I'd have time to watch it, but then I saw the actual length. I'll take a look after the meeting. |

Are there any minimum specs for the game right now? I have an old android phone (The buggy original Samsung galaxy) and a Pantech Element, and while my nexus 4 is broken, I do have my wife's so that'll do. My daughter also has a iPhone 4 so I'll be trying on all of those when ready. Well lets get ready to ROCK!!!

Welp they didn't like it, I guess I'll have to dine on their planet and see if their parents like me. Planetary invasion stuff is tough to reach in the alpha on the upper difficulties, but you should be able to have a good slug fest with them. |

Planetary invasions look lile fun. How does one not lnow how to attack a planet when you are flyong around in spaceships powered by water with apparently infinite ammo for cannon and torp attacks?

Well that would fry the planet surface, and probably making it uninhabitable. Best to invade, take over their structures, and set up base. For this you need soldiers and... uh... pods I guess.
They're pretty high up in the tech tree.
