I explored an anamoly before switching to the forum boards to post, which shutdown the alpha app. When I returned, The anamoly turned red (I may have pressed end turn exploring buttons) but I have no idea what I got from it. Is there a list of changes or some kind of log to tell me what I got? Or did I miss a popup explaining what that anamoly gave me?

Yeah, I'm also having trouble figuring out how exploring an anomaly works. I tried on one, didn't see anything happen (although I suspect it may have changes graphics slightly). Then tries doing another explore and it wouldn't do anything when I tapped the anomaly. I eventually went to another anomaly and tried and this time could definitely see the graphic for the anomaly change, but no other result that I noticed.

Nevermind, turns out I can colonize the red anamoly (not sure if bug or feature). Better colony stats ahoy!!

You are correct, the pop-up screen is transient and doesn't generate a turn event in the log.
You did receive the bonus, but will be unable to see which of the 12 current results you received.
Thanks for the report, this will be fixed in the next.

It should change color next turn, or a screen pops up telling you what the exploration uncovered. A note telling players that a red anamoly is colonizable would be useful...

The intended flow for Exploration is...
1. Fly Explorer ship to Anomaly 2. Activate 'Explore' Training 3. Tap the Anomaly, AP and MP go to 0 4. Click "End Turn" 5. See a Results Window

Well, if my other two hive ships are Cadar and De Valtos, then I just put Rychart on a red radioactive ball of death. Oh well. Never liked their hats anyway.

Ah, I just hit end turn for my second exploration and got the "Major breakthrough in science..." Exploration Results popup. I must have just missed the first one, or not realized what it was.

Assuming we're talking about the same thing. I wasn't able to colonize an anomoly. this is a red gas giant Attachments:

XD Ooops? (I want to give a screenshot, but the file is bigger than the limit here. x.x)

It formed out of an anamoly though? o.0 I explored the regular purplish-black anamoly and the next turn it became that red gas giant, which I colonized.
And for that matter, are planets/gas giants/ anamolies supposed to have nothing listed on the world information scren pre-colonizing? Seems a bit odd...

If you could post steps of what you did to make that happen, please share.
