Such a great story! I love William Gibson (especially Sprawl and JM) but Zero History series was good too.

@jeffway Yeah, it has an affect on your rep with the different factions. Check your rep for each faction before you sell some paydata, then check it after to see what's changed. Some will go up some will go down.

Did a whole heap of missions with Texas powers, was getting heaps of cool tidbits & rewards, 92 faction rep. Got told I "qualified" & could access the gateway, but didn't get a badge or document in my gear. I re do more missions & just get told, "keep doing more missions & you'll be qualified" has anyone else experienced this?

genji88 - Texas Powers will receive some fixes in the next round. He won't buy paydata anymore, that was a mistake. He has a longer runway for the ladder climb to make it harder, and he should give you the pass. Couple of questions: - You never received a "BraveStar Security Pass" in your inventory? Or it doesn't work on the gate? - How long of game-play hours do you think this ladder took? Its a new archetype of Connector (the ladder) and would like to know how you thought about, and how long that one took (should the ladder be longer?) - I'd love to hear any creative suggestions about rewards that could be given along the way or at the top.

Wow I missed out all the way around on Texas Powers. I lost 400mb of paydata, said I would get over $21,000 but didn't get a cent. Never got the BraveStar Security Pass either. Just My Luck  I like the idea of the ladder contracts. I'll wait and see what he does in the next update. Keep up the great work guys !!! We appreciate it =) |

The other thing that would be nice is to know which faction each contact works for.
It'd be nice to know if I sell paydata to know who is going to hate me.

chummer. To me that's part of the game/learning experience. Too much in games these days is just handed to players on a plate. Though I do understand that it might be a little more difficult for Cory to have the contacts' factions randomised for each game.

I never actually received the pass in my inventory. I play this game ALOT, p probably took me about 3 or so real hours to complete the ladder. Aside from not getting the pass & not being recognized as being qualified, I enjoyed playing the ladder. Would like it longer & more extensive, or if say you had to do package/message runs, a certain number of, jobs for a contact given by texas, runs against k horizon/faction & assassinations. If I had the pass, recognition, high paying jobs from texas & discounts from bravestar shops in bravestar turf (120 faction rep) I'd be happy with the ladder as it stands

nemo and genji - really sorry about the security pass issue. We will try to resolve for you, but it can be kind of hard once the cat is out of the bag. genji - thanks for the feedback on the ladder. It should be up to 5-6 hours to climb to the top now, but that might be too long. I think one thing we might look into is reputation minimum for jobs so that Texas stops offering you the lower run jobs as you reach the higher ones. Will investigate with Cory. Discounts at shops is a great idea too.
