I got an idea for a new contact type.. A politician!
From him you Could purchase pardons to get off your negative rep.
And another:a matrix guard..
Pay him for him to "accidently" make a gap to the firewall to let you hack it easier.

@torvawk have you gone to your carried items and used the v-chip yet? That's what you have to do to load the information into your computer.

what is wrong with this Cognac? he won't give me any job at all. even with my Rep with street is at Max, he keep saying I'm on the wrong side. any clue guys?

I've been having the same problem. Although, the fact that my Streets rep keeps resetting to 0 probably isn't helping either.

I have the cognac broblem too..
But i think my rep is somewhere about 15.. Maybe because my rep with mars is 35 and it is a corporation,and because the streeters' ultimate goal is to destroy every corp,having a corp as your friend makes the streeters' pissed off.
--or then its just a bug.

Same. In fact, I'm having a problem with all of the factions and contacts at the moment. My rep keeps going negative regardless of how successful I am with the contracts. As for contacts, none of them will buy any paydata, or hand out any jobs save for Vinny.
A really strange problem I'm having is with the Streets and Los Val rep values. I was negative with Los Val, positive with Streets, now I'm completely negative with Los Val and neutral with Streets. Haven't done any contracts against either one in qutie some time, and even tried doing some FOR both against different factions. Is my copy just fubar'd?

Yeh,i found out something odd going on with the streets.
I found out that killing los val gangsters will increase streets rep,but then it will suddently bump down to zero with no reason. The heat system 2.0(2.1?)
may have fixed it,tho. But actually its HEAT system not REP system...
What changes does the new system include?

Team - I will look at Cognac specifically, I have heard he is being mean. Let us know if you continue to have REP issues with the latest release. A lot of things are changing fast in the back-end, so it might just be some regression buggies. We squash fast.
Cognac should only trigger on Streets Rep, having a small number (8+) should just about do it. I think he is confused.
