Slide87 and easy - the next release will include a grayed out jobs button that says "I'm too Exhausted to negotiate for work right now." if that is your issue.

LordofSyn - exactly which Yakuza building are you going into? You have the pass, are you try to use the tunnel? If you are going into the front door of Frontline Medical, you are probably in the wrong place. You need to visit their secure warehouse, and use the secondary door, the one that says "Private" or "Secure" over top of it. If you walk into it without the pass, your character will note the security and not enter.

If you walk into it without the pass, your character will note the security and not enter. : Yakuza: yes I have used the pass, gone through the tunnel right next to warehouse X35 or something. there is a door with private over the top, but it isn't the right building. I am in yakashima @ this point. the tunnel comes out and the PC is next to the grate. Aztek: I understand that the second door, marked private is the secure area. the flavor text balloon even says so. I have the pass in my inventory. I thought it was just a rep issue, as my rep had dropped, and Cure-all stopped offering the pass. so I did more missions. I called him up and he started offering again. I didn't buy a new one. did a few more missions ( and having to constantly run away from Aztek patrols that just attacked, so that I wouldn't incur a rep drop) I called again, just to make sure. he offered, so I walked all the way from Loyola Academy to the second door, marked private. After getting the flavor text again, I checked my rep 30. in frustration, I have checked every Frontline building in case I had made a mistake. There is more detail to the Aztek simply because I did all of that yesterday. now my Aztek rep is over 50. I have bought a second pass for 200¥ and it still doesn't work. |

I have read this thread several times, and I'm confused.
The Yakuza pass seems to be functioning fine.
I played the AzTek ladder from a new character, it seems to work. Have you tried a new character?

Why not for great justice? Anyway, I am having the problem too. AzTek reputation at twenty nine. Enough to buy the pass from %thatguy%. I go to the Frontline Medical Warehouse building. At the fancy door with the lights, the guard tells me "don't come around here no more." At the plain door with the huge bronze plaque labeled "PRIVATE" above it, I just take note of it being secured and not open. I have the Frontline Medi-Secure pass in my inventory, which my contract prohibits my opening. |

I guess I should start a new one instead. thehawk same exact issue. I have it in my possession, I have even sold it off for 0¥ at a pawn broker and bought a brand new pass. |

Quick question about data files and their buyers. As I am new to all this, I have a few pay data files. like a few knight Horizon Records etc.. tons of Los V Chipbooks, how is it that we may sale these? I only have 3 contacts right now.

When I go into Carried and select one of the paydata files it gives me the option to delte or use. Should I use them or what? Or do I need to just hold on to them until I get a contact to buy them? I go into Factions and it also tells me how many MP of data I have on each faction. Any ideas or input would be great.

'using' it destroys the item & puts it on your PDA there... you can sell it - good luck! ;D from what i hear, its a pain to move large amounts @1st hack/electronics = early stages -------------------------------------------------------------------------- not much help, but im almost ready to get into this area... i have a guy who wants losV data, i find a data terminal that can access the needed files... i hack the system (after getting a cyber implant granting me access) make sure you scroll DOWN the left side - the hack options.... hidden stuff there looking to download/duh... get it and make a call to the buyer you found (encounter drops/gifts) ((about to add something better in the FAQ soon.)) feel free to ask for clarity, i can try... plus, others here know more than i  |

Please allow me to explain: In INVENTORY you have a vChip for Los Val. once you click Use, it vanishes from inventory, as it is now installed on your PDA. You cannot read the file. but to find it click first on your PDA...notice the MP #. There are actually 2 figures for MP. One is the Max MP, the other is the remaining MP. Paydata and any files you have installed on your PDA take up this memory. You can delete them to free up more memory if you want. Now to find said Paydata go to POLITICS. scroll down til you see ( in this example ) Los Val. You should see what your zRep is with them and also how much Paydata in MP you have on your PDA . All that is left...assuming you have someone to buy the Paydata, is to go to a terminal and call them. If they are interested, then you'll get the option to make some fast money. If they don't say anything about that data, it usually means they won't buy it.
