When I hit the home button to close the program, music continues on the home screen... I'll check to see if all sounds continue, but I think that it was only the music. I can force close the program and that stops it. It's just like the HoS issue I had if you can find it. Game looks great by the way!

En1gma - you are not getting this issue in HoS at this time? It's a code port, so it should have the same bugs, but hopefully no regressions. Would be great to get a confirm this isn't also an HoS bug.

I'm afraid we opened this ticket with Google and AOSP EDIT: I was able to reproduce a "continues playing" issue that isn't a Google bug, it's different between HoS and 4X. Digging into it for a fix.

I noted this as well. Switching programs or putting the phone on sleep doesn't pause the music. The new music track might also be looping halfway through the song. I have another app which uses that licensed track, and there's a sick guitar solo in there. Unless Imphenzia has a truncated version. Just fyi.

It's all original Imphenzia music, and comes in various types and sub-compositions. The other application may have licensed a different edition (full, long, ambient, soft, double, etc)

Much better! Thanks guys- this game is awesome! This one turned out to be a bug 100% in my code. I'm working on improving it even further for both HoS and ST:4X. There is a different but (still probably 100% my fault) with sound loops not pausing correctly that I'm still investigating.

I had reported this during the Alpha, but I guess it was overlooked.

I had reported this during the Alpha, but I guess it was overlooked. It wasn't overlooked, just the number of hours of coding is always larger than the number of hours available. Double Fine raises millions of dollars and still has the same issue. We're in good company, LOL
