I'm afraid the Galaxy Ace / Galaxy Young / Galaxy Y team has shown up and posted some 1-star reviews.
Our only option at this time is to filter those devices to try to protect ourselves. Sorry to anyone stuck with that device.

Also, if you paid for the game and we filtered your device, just ask for a refund it will be processed soonest. |

Amazon's not available in my country at the moment, sadly, but I will be waiting for them! I have to fight to persuade my parents to buy me games (I don't get no pocket money) so Star Traders Elite is the only purchase I've ever managed to wrangle off them for my phone, and given the amount of time I've played on it I doubt they'll let me buy another of your fantastic games! I guess I'll have to wait until I leave home to bankrupt myself in support of the Trese Brothers. Oh, and please don't offer me refunds, I'd never ever ever do that to you guys!  |

It really is an issue of just trying to keep a positive feedback loop. Unhappy customers, for whatever reason, are something we work day in and day out to avoid. |

And that's also why Google sucks, because it hasn't given you top developer status, even though you are blatantly the best devs in the whole of Android (or any other operating system). |

Google is a giant computer program. It looks at numbers and makes decisions.
They're also the corporate that gives us enough money to buy the Raman Noodles and Coffee we need to survive.
I'd love to be a "Top Developer" but that has to be earned with big numbers.
What country are you in? I can ask our contacts at Amazon.

Cory Trese Ooh, I lie. It looks like Amazon now IS available (and it looks like they actually opened up worldwide over a year ago). I just remember not being able to use Amazon when I was first looking to buy ST Elite, and presumed things wouldn't have changed. Looks like I'll be joining everyone else waiting for the slow updates to trickle through!

Cory Trese Actually I can't get it on Amazon, (the free version, that is, although I may try and persuade my parents to buy Elite if Amazon's install and the game both work on my phone) I can install the app and log in but when I tapped 'get app' I first got an error message saying 'please check your billing address and payment method are from a supported country' and now get 'an error occurred while purchasing Star Traders 4x Empires - please try again'. Any ideas?

Oof, that sounds like effort! I'm happy to say that my Galaxy Ace's SD card slot has packed in (joining the USB port, wifi, corrupted APNs, messed up earphone jack that starts my music players going randomly (at the same time), and the tiny RAM) which makes is significantly easier to pester my parents for a new phone! Thanks for the advice, I'll give it a shot, but I've pinned my hopes on some of those new motorola moto budget smartphones this summer... and then ST4X is all mine!  |
