Hey Cory, I voted on Steam for the green light but you see that wonderful "More Games" button that makes your title screen now look professional by grouping together all the other titles you make instead of plastering them all over the menu screen? Wouldn't that be a great place to put (the first entry) a link to the steam green light page? While it's a different platform it is in fact "More Games" and thus that would be a very appropriate place to put a link for another of your games? I understand not putting links to the Apple store in Android and vice versa but a "Vote for green light..." tucked nicely away under more games is completely appropriate. Again, that's the beautiful thing about putting More Games in its own section, you can post all sorts of stuff in that group without cluttering the main screen.
Just a suggestion.

That definitely didn't help my argument. LMFAO
Going to find a pair of forceps and digging this bullet out of my foot...
Edit: Maybe a little "!" next to the new games button after an update that adds something to that menu, which clears once someone clicks on the new games button may be a happy medium. I am now forced to concede the home screen is a more visible location, well played Trese Brothers, well played.
Typical, So Typical. /shakes head and returns to the corner.
The new menus do look amazing. So clean and free of clutter... ; )
Edit 2: You can gloat now... I can take it.
For those who are reading this and are confused, it was a "discussion" (as my parents used to call it many years ago when I was young) over email to which I am referencing.
Edit 3: The worst thing about this is I now remember clicking on that in the app (even though I saw it here on the forums and had already voted) a few days ago just to boost the link reference stats in order to help my argument that putting things under a unified menu would still get as much attention as the home screen. I freekin forgot all about it. So it did in fact work as I said it would, and the "!" suggestion about wouldn't have changed my fail in this the post above.

Its to help prevent voting manipulation by botnets. It's to help increase the financial coffers of Steam, did you say, dayan? So do I have to buy a game, to vote for TB? That would restrict TB's votes, to those that can afford to pay.  <sound of @cig, pumping shotgun>  The cheapest way to do it is to get Team Fortress 2 and buy the cheapest item in the Mann Store. There's some stuff for like 50c or sometimes even 10c if a sales on.
Still sucks but the TB are worth the expenditure

I came to this site, to buy an ELECTRIC COOKER, and neither of the sales reps, even bothered to show me any models. They were too busy, playing games, on their mobile phones. Lolz. |
