Well Metro: Last Light. The story was great. The ending was ok. Not a bad game.
Stealth killing for the world!

I've been fiddling with the idea of joining EVE Online. What keeps me away is the cutthroat player base and the steep learning curve. rabid I considered it, but then it's subscription-only.... Actually, I just did some research and a player can pay their monthly fee by EARNING IN GAME MONEY. It's the exact same methodology that Wildstar implemented. So, in essence, you could pay for free ... forever. That is, if you're willing to put in the time. rabid

I know I've done 3 posts in a row. Sorry. Different things at different times.
I was able to make Tropico 1 - 4 work.
1. Uninstalled all my NVIDIA drivers, (PhysX, audio, graphics, etc) 2. Stopped Windows 7 from installing drivers automatically through gpedit.msc policy changes. 3. Downloaded 340.52 (latest drivers) again. This time manually and without any automated service. 4. Installed using the "clean install" option. 5. Re-installed Tropico games.
Everything rolling along.
This also helps with Metro: Last Light PhysX bugs which kill fraps in certain levels.

I am still hopelessly addicted to HoS.... I just made my 33rd group yesterday... Trying the LS straight to 10 build with Kincaid, Selen, and Kyera... LS is the most ridiculous talent for me right now- nothing like frying entire war parties in one turn... The battle for Nordhall lasted 3 turns. 3. And that's just because I had to wait for them to reach me. Such an awesome game.

I haven't had a PC in a while, but one of my favs is Warzone 2100. You can download it for free. It originally came out in 1999 but got released for free in 2004. A team of new devs keep it up to date and add new content. wz2100.net/

Is that the game, where you even research what wheel/track types, you want for your vehicles, and the terrain is really mountainous. I remember playing an RTS demo, about 15 years ago. Never forgotten it. If this games it - I'm in.

OH WHAT! I've just noticed on the net, that Imperium Galactica 2, has been ported across to phone and tablet. That game was amazing. I've been wanting to get it for PC, for ages. Ps Cory Trese. Hi. Have you played IG2? If so. What did you think of it?

Check out the link, you may be very happy. It was also one of the first 3D RTS games. You research new tech as you find it and build new base structures. The game can be played from start to end in about 17 hours once you get good. Another neat feature was that your troops gained experience as their kill score went up. It really forced you into trying to keep units rather than just build new ones.

ntsheep. Ah. That sounds like it. Something comes to mind about small gold stars, above vehicle and units. I'll look into it. Thanks buddy.

Make sure you download all the extra maps for skirmish battles. The AI also has a memory, if you ever use the satellite laser weapon, the next time you play that map it will build one as soon as possible. It also always will have aircraft to attack with between 40 to 50 minutes into a skirmish. Once you get the tech tree memorized enough, watch out for air assaults. I love 8 player skirmishes for playing against the AI, a real challenge when 7 are coming at you. Then again I have had times where it ignores me for up to an hour, unless I attack it. If I get a PC again, or can borrow one a few hours, I'll try and see about setting up an online battle. Among RTS gamers that love the old ones, this game has a good following. How many other 15 year old games are still getting updates and new content?

I remember you could combine units, by researching / building different tracks, chassis and turrets for your tanks. I was very impressed with it at the time - nice to know that someone's been updating it after all these years!

Anyone remember playing the game 1942? You're on a WWII fighter and you fight level after level after level? Like for 200 levels? My god I loved that game.
Playing Darksiders I. Very lineal, but feels like I'm playing God of War. Great cinematic scenes.
