Trying out Sorcery! Part One. Pretty interesting RP, but fighting with a sword feels less like strategy and more like guessing. Hmm, What do you mean? rabid

Might and Magic... I just love kicking a guard in the stomach into some random spiky wall in the middle of outside (which doesn't really make sense to me in any way, shape, or form).
Also, Playing Thief... the original one and not the new one.

Hmm, What do you mean? rabid The game claims that you should know when to attack, guard or heavy attack by reading the text, but in practice it's mostly trial and error. Say your fighting a human- "He watches your moves carefully". Is that him defending or a light probe at your defenses? The answer kinda matters- if he's probing and you hit him hard, you get bonus damage. If he's defending, you barely do anything and limit the power of your next strike (basically, its stamina based). I ended up learning important rules about combat online (one of which being that the computer has to fight by the same rules as you, so if that human goes into a full-out attack, he can only go half that far next turn). Why I didn't get that out of the game, I don't know. Aside from that, quite enjoyable- trying to save the city in Part 2, but I swear a clue of mine went missing. :/

I took some time off from editing (on chapter 41-42 as of this afternoon. Cerberus part III) to play some video games. Any games. And ... played Portal. All I have to say about Portal is .... ... wait ... that's the Final Boss? Not the -1rst- boss!? The game is OVER!? Well ... it only cost me 2 bucks. *shrug* rabid

I have a unique opportunity to start a new file on a Trese game. Getting a new device set up soon. So fresh files. The question is, which TB game?
