Well, I'm working on 4X on Impossible right now. I think the Xorga need to go away... like right now. My ships are ready, and they just need to scare the Xeno.
Outside of TB, still playing Shadow Era. Had a real crazy idea with the second worse hero in the game to make a deck that basically stalls you completely, and then slowly kills off my opponent's creatures while healing me, all the while allowing me to smack my opponent with a giant axe that gets more powerful per every hit. When you have only 28 health, getting hit for 3+4+5+6+7 damage per axe isn't fun.

qbspy, Yes I've played Pixel Dungeon--great game--but a bit embarrasing... I played a bunch and learned things. Had a warrior with a shot to beat the game; +8 Battle Axe, +8 Scale Mail, bunch of stuff. Blew the imp quest by leaving the level before turning in the ingots (duh!). When health got low I'd hold up somewhere safe and farm dew drops with a regrowth wand. Worked great until the last level before the final boss fight where the monsters kept forcing me to use health potions. I should have just pushed ahead to the boss fight. Instead I kept to the farming strategy which ended up burning most of my health potions. Realizing my error, I stopped playing out of frustration. That warrior has languished for months. I should have finished the run for better or worse. One day, I'll have to return...

CoD? Cash On Delivery? Is this a game about the battle between Postal Services, to be the best in the neighbourhood? The tactical part being, how to get the letter to the door, without the homeowners dog, chewing it, or you?  Joking aside, does anybody remember the game "Paper Boy", for the ZX spectrum? Or the skateboard game? Don't really see games in that style anymore. It's all snowboards etc. grävling. Ear worms???  Heh. I'm not the only one! I looked it up 2 seconds after I read that word.  rabid Paperboy is awesome. One of the first games I truly fell in love with I'm playing F.E.A.R. 2 amongst other things at the moment. I've got Dragon Age II to go through at some point, and Assassin's Creed Rogue turning up soon (late birthday present). Also been playing a lot of Pinball FX 2 (The new South Park tables) and Pool Nation. Just finished Telltale's Walking Dead season 2 as well :/ |

I played Halo 1 and Fable 1 for a month or two ... then i sold my Xbox and that was that. I bought a PS3, that one failed with the 'ring of death' and I gave up on buying game consoles after that. Too much effort to maintain and to keep working. Truthfully, It worked more as a blue-ray player than a game console.
Now I'm an unrepentant PC guy. If the game doesn't come for PC I will shrug and move on. Thus, I didn't play Destiny, which looked awesome, but ultimately sucked because of repetitiveness, horrible story problems, and the worst loot distribution system I've ever read about.
Feel I dodged a bullet.

Cg cool pics. I can't understand why people rush to buy these expensive new consoles, I mean yeah they're interesting machines, but no thanks. I'd rather purchase a laptop or smartphone for the price. Maybe I'm getting old. Im gonna get a better phone soon. Can't wait to play CK or TA on a big screen. Jealous of our tablet players.

Well finished Kingdom of Amalur on hard. My suggestion: deliberately gimp your character. The fights are way too easy. The final boss is gorgeously rendered, but a freaking joke.
