Omega Ruby, CdrPlatypus. Such a sexy looking Pokemon game- the engine they used is amazing... What did you start with? I went with Treeco initially, but since I want to train a Breloom as my grass type it was too redundant... I reset it and started w Mudkip. Much better...

I keep downloading roguelikes. It's like i'm looking for something. Funny you should say that. I kept scanning the Play Store for ANY game, that I could really "get my teeth into", but most of the time, games are just a glossy trivial diversion, without any REAL depth. I suppose my phone being so old doesn't help. You're probably looking for a recreation of your "lost gaming past", when everything was fresh and unexplored. Graphics were basic, but gameplay was "new" and untried. The days of the pioneers. Gone. Gone. <sob>. Now it' s just "The Clone Wars".

Cg maybe. Sometimes I go through phases where games are objectionable. I assumed everyone did, but at least one long time gamer said he didn't know what I was talking about.

I learned the term rouge-like recently; I always called it hardcore rpging or Atlus-style games. "We get off on your tears."- Atlus twitter feed Having pwned Pixel Dungeon, I'm trying the Shattered Pixel Dungeon one-- I can't kill Goo to save my life. x.x

Well a "rouge like" game you guys might like to try is Out There. Pretty fun game, sort of like a FTL type story but more decision making than intense battles.

I was about to post and say, "OK ChocoCrowbar, don't keep us in suspense. What's the name of the Rogue-like?" Then I realised " Out There", WAS it's name. Duhhhhh.

Since dayan inserted a link to an on-line Flash gaming site, www.addictinggames.com, I've spent quite a few hours mindlessly shooting zombies. Some of the games, (not just zombie games), can run a bit slow, at times though. My favourite though, is the escape type games, where you have to get out of a locked car/room, etc. Another Game site is: www.bored.com/gamesAdblocker useful.

I'm currently playing X-COM : enemy within. At first I thought it was an extension for enemy unknown but, in fact, it's a complete game. The main scenario is the same (and the graphics too) but you have some new additions : when researched, you can have genetic modifications and cyberware. A human faction is trying to shut you down and you must send some of your soldiers to spy on them and it seems (I'm still playing so I'm not sure) that some human had spontaneously developed psy powers. At first I thought :"darn ! Why a whole new game, I have the original one, I want an add-on." But, as I progress through the game I realize that there is so many choice you have to make early that will impact your HQ and gear that you need to start from the beginning (so it would be frustrating to play the original one without the possibility to use old saves). If you had liked enemy unknown you should try that one. If not and like tactical RPG (and that's one, don't doubt it) try it.

beuns I love x-com enemy unknown and within. I've sunk so many hours in there Did they deal with the atrocious "game breaking" bugs, that were in the first release, or is it still hit and miss?
