I am currently sitting infornt of my Laptop while playing either Skyrim or Mafia II... And that 24/7.
I'd love to play Red Dead Redemption, still cursing R* that they only released it as a consolegame, grrrrh!

Jacob. Maybe this year, Red Dead will get ported to PC. Maybe. ----------- Oh wow! I just re-installed Pixel Dungeon. Uninstalled it some time back, because I just couldn't get on with it, (nor did it really appeal to me). What a difference, six months+ of development had made to the game!! I can feel the need for "just ONE more go", tugging at me, even as I write this post. When I first played. It didn't even have a selection of player characters.

Pixel Dungeon reminds me of a low-fi Diablo 1 in the best way possible

(bye bye from list of possibles) I hope Destiny rocks, so I get to see the Youtube gameplay ... since I won't be playing it either. rabid

Im playing Spectral Souls 2. Strategy RPG Sent from my MB855 using Tapatalk 2 Haven't heard of it, but I'll peek at it soonish. rabid It's very challenging. Im not gonna lie on it. It also takes at least 100 hours of your life... but it is interesting to see the Neverland war from both (and later 3) sides. And not the Peter Pan Neverland. Back to ff8. I am a level 10 party doing 2500 damage per hit. I need to quit breaking games. Sent from my MB855 using Tapatalk 2

rabidbiteI love half-life. Completed the first one about three times, and the various add-ons (go Barney!) Half-life 2 just blew me away when it was first released, and it's still a game full of awesome moments now. I remember it was the first game where I'd seen physics done so well - I remember spending ages throwing / knocking different bits of scenery into water. The way the planks floated and the barrels bobbed, it was unreal. We take all that stuff for granted now I think. And it has a real sense of journey - you really feel like you're travelling on a large scale, which helps it's sense of adventure, exploration and the feeling of isolation it often gives. I enjoyed Episode 1 & 2 as well. So yes, for me, Half-Life is one of those amazing experiences that every gamer should go through at least once. And as much praise as that is, the original Deus Ex just tops it as far as I'm concerned. The story, the exploration, the whole way the game was designed. THAT moment mid-game is probably the finest gaming moment ever crafted in my opinion. Absolutely stunning. And like the original Bioshock, the gunplay, despite being inventive, isn't very tight - it's the plot, the atmosphere, the inventiveness, the fully realised world and the adventure that escalate it. The sequel was also pretty good, but not on the same level. They are both better, however, than the third game. It's not that it's a bad GAME, it's just bad Deus Ex.

Eugh... I'm sorry but Invisible War was horrible compared to the first Deus Ex. At least Human Revolution tried to be a good Deus Ex game. I just didn't like how you were forced to be stealthy the whole time.

I'm playing ff7 for the first time and... people swoon over Sephiroth because he went insane and burned down a village. I'm not impressed. Kefka beat him by a mile.

I got all the Half-Life games in October, and I haven't actually finished the first one. It might've been good when it was first released, but I just found it fairly dull. I also seem to be one of the few people that don't like the whole silent faceless protagonist - I might enjoy the game a bit more if I was given some background to Gordon Freeman, because I don't really feel any empathy for anyone there.

Well, I can't believe I'm going to say this, but due to the age of the original game, look up the plot on line and skip straight to HL2. It's superior in every way, even by modern standards it still stands strong as an excellent game. Back in the day (1998?) All of that first sequence where you're just going to work and watching the scientists and blowing up their dinner in the microwave, it was really novel. And how you could get a companion and keep him alive for level after level if you were careful enough. But, unlike 2d gaming, 3D doesn't age well, so if you're struggling, just move on to the sequel

When I had a PS3 (dead and gone) I played Dead Space ... and fell in love with the evil, corrupt, mutant monster sci-fi world.
I go out of my way to finish Dead Space games with my PISTOL. Yeah, no machine guns, no missiles, nothing, just my pistol, accuracy and control.
It made the games so challenging, dark and AWESOME. I want another one like that. I want more NECROMORPHS. Probably my favorite type of monsters in all sci-fi horror literature/games/universes.

Well I just finished playing the bard's tale. I am very bored so if anyone got any suggestions for games that will keep me laying for a while then please list them. I think I might have found the only games that I think are worth playing and beat them a long time ago. I wish I could go back to the US and get to play my ps3 cause it is getting very boring were I'm at. And also a tip for anyone playing pixel dungeon (seems like a lot of people here are playing it) well I guess I don't really have very good. I don't think it is a very helpful tip but in the game you got to be focused on living. Don't be afraid to use health potions and even if you didn't get lucky in the beginning with the items you still need to live until you get them. And if a boss kills you better go in next time and do everything in your power to beat his ass. I would have better tips but I bet everybody already knows how to play the game well enough so that you don't die before the first boss and they just need to have their mind set on beating ass and never giving up.

Very challenging, and keeps it tense all the way through!
